I was very surprised by Roberto, he is normally so quiet but wow. I really enjoyed this book. Can’t wait to read Valentino next

You finally get a look at the quiet brother. He values control and everything he does in his life when it was interesting to see him, lose it when it came to mei ling. I have to say I did not know where the story would go, and I was at least happy that Roberto recognized how his family was in danger, but he was refusing to go through his plan for selfish reasons. It made me a little annoyed, but whatever it is, what it is. This story definitely did shock me, and it was interesting seeing the recap from Mei ling side and everything she went through and how she came to be how we know her in the present. Overall, the story was good. I would just say it was entertaining at least. Very excited to see Valentino’s story next

I enjoyed reading this book, it had so much going on that it was difficult for me to put down. The best part about this novel... that it was a novel in series. I enjoy reading those the most because of their connections to the other previous characters. The storyline between these two characters was easily likable.

I enjoy the characters and the general storyline but there is so much repetition, it leaves me disappointed. Entire sections of the book are told a second time from another characters point of view, but little changes. Requires a fair amount of skimming. Author also over explains words or concepts. I made it through 5 books so it was still entertaining!

I loved that this played out in Hong Kong! I admit, I had hoped Roberto would have blown up Lau & the others, but in the end it all worked out. I can’t wait for Fausto to be dealt with!

Oh Wow! Roberto really surprised me. Who would have guessed he was so dominant and a control lover (I’m afraid to Davy the f word lol so I’ll use lover)? AND so skilled in pleasing a woman. This book has some major twist thrown in and I just loved them. Mei-ling is perfect for Roberto and didn’t know what hit her when she met the real Roberto in and out of the bedroom. I loved their dates. Roberto always made them memorable. This is one you really don’t want to miss out on.

This book was very much so ROBERTO!What that means is he is the one that’s more calculated and behind the scenes. Being in finance he deals with offices and meetings and strategically maps everything out.The books plot was very much so that plus the addition of his dark dom side !There were a few sections that had me quickly scanning through, but overall very good! I loved going both of their perspectives!
