We ordered the medium-large size for our mixed breed adult dog who weighs in at about 55 pounds and there was plenty of room for adjustment. The collar seems to be well-made of a durable nylon material, and the buckles and other attachments are made of plastic except for the leash D-ring which is metal (zinc?). The LED lighting unit is basically a small box that is integrated with the collar's clasp. The LEDs have three settings: solid on, fast flash and slower flash which are selected by a push button on the LED/clasp assembly. The LEDs are VERY bright and are four different colors but they all flash at the same time so there is no specific color selection or other pattern available. We live on a large rural property and like to let out pup run freely within the fenced perimeter, so this collar makes it really easy to see where he is at night when we let him out. The collar is fairly wide and nice looking, and the overall construction and material quality is comparable with other collars we have used previously. If you need a high visibility collar for your furbaby for nighttime walks or just to be able to see it at night, this collar will do the trick. Recommended.

I got the size L and it fits my 8 month old, 42 lb aussie perfectly on it's smallest setting - hopefully with a bit of room to grow into. The light is very bright and hangs low, so it reflects off the ground making it easy to spot your pup in the dark. I'm not a fan of the blinking modes (they feel seizure-inducing), but the steady on glow is quite peaceful. It's never turned on accidentally and even after a couple of weeks of nightly walks the lights are still shining brightly. It seems extremely sturdy and hasn't shown any wear and tear at all. My only complaint is the weird charging cable - it's going to be impossible to replace when I lose it, and I'll be sad to see this collar go dim.

I don't know what I was thinking. The buckle lights up, so if the buckle is facing out then people and vehicles will be able to see only that side? If would be great if it went all the way around the I would feel my dog is safer because he is visible. But he has very long, messy and wild fur so even if it was whole collar I can't be sure it's be bright enough to protect him. Also come s with a weird little charger. Not common so once it's lost then not using the collar any more if I wanted to. It's a pain to charge any way. Then what if he runs off or something before I can get a chance to get the collar switched on. I feel like it is a false sense of security which could possibly get you into a worse situation. Low quality with only buckle lighting up and cheapy charger. Won't be using the collar any time soon

My dog, Trout, (not pictured) is a maniac so Roe and he have to walk in the dead of night like ghouls. We have zero street lights on our street so we arm ourselves with a torch and light up collars. This collar was easy to adjust, and didn’t seem to bother Roe. The lights blend together and make a nice purple color. There are flashing options but I figure that will give all of us a headache. This light is best used to keep people aware of your dog - but does not light the way. Over it is solidly constructed and the collar was soft and well made.
