Suncrop Produce Mixed Peppers, Pack of 3

Very nice and healthy looking sweet peppers. We use them in our Indonesian rice tables among other dishes and they typically add much flavour. The peppers come in the three main colours and are typically of above average size.They are quite sturdy and therefore easy to cut with a sharp knife. Would recommend. this is a repeat order for us. Good price - quality profile.

I've been getting peppers like this for a few years now, and every single one has a kind of crystallised inner edge, I had always trimmed this off not being sure of what it was, I finally remember several months ago to as a mate about this, as they are into the cooking etc, he couldn't understand it, and said it sounds like they had been frozen, or stored in a very cold space (colder than these need), and it made sense.But I had nothing to compare it too as they were the same no matter what supermarket I got them from, they were also very often on the soft side, and trying to use the slicer tool (a very sharp blade with a container under it to catch the cut pieces), they just turned to mush, so I had to do them by hand.Now I tried Amazon's service for the very first time, mainly due to not having the range of food I'd go for, but I got this delivered and when I cut them up, they were firm and no crystal type inner edge to be seen, so I had to do onions as well, so after cutting them in half and cleaning out the inside.I tried these on the slicer, and they worked, quite well for the most part, it's just that last bit that is trapped in the 'handle' that holds the item while slicing (this is the downside of the slicer no matter what you slice), but they worked very well, so I won't be getting them anywhere else now after this experience.

The Suncrop mixed peppers came packed in disposable ice packs with the other chilled items that I purchased. The mix peppers were all a decent size. I cut the tops off and remove the inside of the peppers, and stuffed them with vegetable rice and seasoned with Chinese five spice. Then placed the pepper tops back on and wrapped them in tin foil. Then placed them in the oven for One hour on 180°, and served with hassle back potatoes. Very delicious.

Great for BBQ or salad versatile would of given 5out of 5 but brought 2 lots and a couple were slightly on the turn recommend

Fresh and crunchy

Great flavour but every other pack I receive has a very small pepper which is frustrating. I'd be happy was it not for the frustrating variation in size.
