COOLWUFAN 6 FT Halloween Witch Decorations Outdoor, 3 Pack Witches Décor with Multicolored Light Up Head and Scary Sound (Sound Activation) for Yard Lawn Garden Outside

I saw this Halloween decorations like this on an artisan site and decided to see if I could find it more cheaply on Amazon, so I bought these but I wish I’d splurged on the other site’s witches’ decorations. The quality of these is very poor. The states that go into the ground are not sturdy and bend easily. Similarly, the plastic tubes that you use to put them together do not fit tightly, also bend easily, and are not sturdy enough to hold up the witches. After trying to prop them up multiple times in 24 hours, I finally just pulled them off the lawn and tried to rig them up on my porch. I wouldn’t waste your money on these.

The media could not be loaded. Quality: good. All components are in good shape. The seams of the cloaks and hats are nicely sewn. There are no gaps or puckers. The hats fit well on the heads. The robes are full enough with a nice shape. Heads are sturdy plastic. The netting is snug and secure. Poles fit together well and fit into the stem at the base of the heads. Battery pack opens easily enough and closes tightly with a screw. Overall, all compnents are good.The witches are really nice. Not only are they sturdy but they're tall enough to be a respectable prop. If you have soft ground, the stake would probably be enough to hold them upright but I'll probably reinforce with rebar as we have a fair amount of wind. The outfits have a nice full look to them. The hands are already tied and the wires run from one to the next so they have to stay in line but that's how most will want them anyway.Now for the lighting-it's really good. The heads light up with a diffused light. More than bright enough day or night. The controller is sound activated. This sets off the flashes and sound effects-cackling and cries and ending in screams. After a bit it just goes to solid colored lights. Quite a nice effect.The only aspect that doesn't thrill me is that they're battery operated- 3 AAA. I'd much rather they ran on line voltage. I don't care for the waste of batteries or the fact that you have to turn them on every day. I'd much rather have them hooked to a timer. I knew this and can't deduct a star because that was clear.I'm really looking forward to having these in the Witch's Hollow section of my haunt this year.

Be prepared to spend some time trying to anchor these yourself. They likely will need to be propped up against a wall. PIA.

Update 10/5/24As I installed them in my yard, major flaw was found. The simple single spike to hold each witch to ground is terrible —- its cheap plastic isn’t strong enough and its length isn’t deep or long enought to prevent these from falling over on the slightly of breeze.I’m not sure how to resolve this yet - I might have to find a longer metal spike and duct tape it to support rod. But this might cause the support rod to break as it’s thin plastic too.So these 3 witches are super easy to assemble and install. I have to use some electrical tape to hold poles together. Then just attach the body, spread out the foam wires to give them “shoulders” and place into group. Super simple.Sounds and colors work perfectly as advertised.The battery compartment is under the hat of 1 witch - my concern here is that this isn’t watertight so that could corrode or break easily after weeks of exposed to rain/mositure. I may seal it in plastic sandwich bag, closed with electrical tape.However, they are definitely not 6 ft - more like 5 ft.

I ordered these cause ive wanted them for a few years so i finally ordered them. First day i pot them up they looked good and sounded good. 2nd day the collar started coming apart from the head area. And 3rd they was bend over. This is a plastic pole so the wind and heat (Texas) made them permanently bent? WOW be wasted of money and time. I wouldn’t buy this product or anything from them again.

They are definitely not even close to 6’ tall. Put them up in the yard last night & this morning they’re all leaving/almost touching the ground.

Good quality. Lights up brightly. Looks great! Highly recommend!

These are so cheaply made, it’s insane. If you live on a street with even the slightest bit of breeze, the poles will pop right off the stake. One windy day snapped the stake right off into the pole which was tricky to get out. Also, the sounds are annoying. An option for just the lights or both would’ve been ideal
