They are good quality and functional to use for taper candles however unmolding the candles are a bit of trial and error situation so be warded but still recommend

works as expected. I wish i was better at extraction, but take your time. Molds wear over time..this looks to be sturdy.

Molds are well made and sturdy. Ample wicking is provided. Set comes without any instructions and would be hard for a beginner to use but great for an experienced candle maker.

I've been looking for a nice set of candlestick molds so I thought I would give these a try and so far they have worked out pretty well. The blend of wax I use releases itself pretty well when cool and set so there hasn't been an issue yet. With that said, I do have release agent on hand if it is needed. So far I haven't needed it. I'll be trying a different blend on the next batch for "drip" candles (remember those? Lol) so we'll see how that blend does with them. I did not use the wick material (I use pre-waxed hemp) nor did I use the foam "clay" for sealing the top end (I use my own version of a real clay blend) so I can't speak on either of those items that are included. I do, however, appreciate the wick holders for the bottom ends of the candles (top ends of the molds), functions way better than toothpicks, lol.
