Impressive for price
Finally got out to use this tent as I don't like to write review until I have used the product in the environment it is designed for the weekend I used this tent it was heavy rain and strong winds typical Welsh weather and I was highly impressed. The things I look for is how easy it is to pitch, weather resistant, comfort, and practicality, and I must say it passed all test with flying colours it was easy to pitch kept be totally dry was warm and plenty of room for my kit and the dog.The quility and finish is top notch it is easy to break down pack away the weight is reasonable for the protection it provides and good pack size. Top piece of kit well done salewa

My overall opinion
Really good tent especially for mountains.

FAST TO ERECT, BIT TOO BRIGHT INSIDE
FAST TO PUT UP, SIMPLE, ONLY DRAWBACK FOR ME IS THE BRIGHTNESS INSIDE - LIME GREEN. I PREFER THE CALMNESS OF MY OLD NAVY BLUE DOME TENT - DARK COLOURS BETTER FOR A RESTFUL SLEEP. EXCELLENT 3,000 HH OUTER AND 5,000 FLOOR.

Easy to put up
Plenty room for 1 but 2 wouldn't leave much room for gear as the porch area is quite thin 300mm but overall a great little tent. Seemed pretty sturdy so should be good in the wind though i never used it in windy conditions...

Perfect mountain tent
Fantastic mountain tent. Solid, lightweight and very quick and simple to erect. Perfect.

a very comfy 1 man expedition tent, would be tight with 2 and all your kit as nowhere to keep it
lots of room for 1 can sit up and get changed easily. Front porch only big enough for boots and a bit of kit not a rucksack.Stood up to a blow and rain and the design sheds water great.

Design and materials.
Well made. Sound design. Hopefully, lasts as long as my salewa tunnel tent . Circa 1970.

although porch would easily accommodate it with boots and other kit you want ...
for budget, it is light and loving the external poles with inner/outer erection at same time. Once erected can lift whole thing and move if you want to. feels well made, first winter snow camp, no issues at all. chose it over a banshee (it was hugely discounted and made a more expensive tent, similar budget) as the porch is a little larger although ending up stuffing sack between inner/outer and sizeable gap there, although porch would easily accommodate it with boots and other kit you want to keep out of the main tent.Minor annoyance the 'peaked window' opening keeps its shape by an enclosed wire to create the peak, its a little too long in its sleeve so distorts shape into some sort of 's' bend. given that I had a little condensation on inside I'm wondering of the venting was effected. Proably a minor reason for not giving a 5*.
