Great for mixing dough!
Works great, just as expected, feels good quality, no issues so far. Definitely makes mixing dough easier and less messy.

AMAZING addition to my kitchen
I can't sing the praises of this tool loud enough! It was given to me for Christmas, probably because my daughter was sick of hearing about how much I wanted one... My version of the "red rider bb gun" I've used it for three batches of bread dough so far, and it.is.stellar. Typically I mix my liquids/yeast and half the flour then when the yeast has bloomed, I'll put the remainder of the flour in and mix/knead in the mixer. Dough always seemed to be hit/miss as far as texture. I've found, using this tool (and no mixer) - the incorporation of flour by hand is so easy, and when time to knead, the amount is less - and my three batches of rolls have been prize winners - beautiful lofty rolls with a delicate texture they're consumed immediately (hence on batch #3 in 3 days). The handle and wire are solid as a rock, which makes mixing so incredibly easy. Bye bye dough encrusted wooden spoons. No more scrubbing to remove the gunk from a wooden spoon or mixer. Get a nice big bread bowl, and one of these - and you'll be writing apology letters to your electric mixer. Again, I am very impressed with the quality. Don't put it in the dishwasher, just put it in a dish of warm water when you're done w/it - let it soak while you knead the dough, then a quick rinse/dry and she's ready to go back in the drawer. I'm EXTREMELY picky about my kitchen tools, and I don't hand out glowing reports willy nilly, but this gets a GLOWING report. Happy baking! Oh, this will also be great for mixing brownies ;)

All I use for mixing
There’s a certain old-fashioned and wonderful feel about using this. I didn’t want to purchase an expensive Kitchen Aid and wash a lot of items after baking, but I felt I needed something more than a simple fork or spoon to mix heavy batter with. I absolutely LOVE this; it’s beautiful, sturdy, does the job, and saves time (no hauling out kitchen appliances, etc.) But one important thing: Don’t leave it soaking in dish water. It has a wooden handle, so you don’t want to leave it soaking! After you repeat this for a while, the wood and the glue that holds the metal on the inside can soften up, making the metal part wobbly or fall out. I had to fix mine a few times due to my forgetfulness. So honestly, just spare yourself that hassle and wash it right after using it, then simply hand dry or air dry it. You won’t have any need to soak hard crusty batter if you do this. Also, I probably wouldn’t put it in the dishwasher for the same reasons.

It’s a keeper!
This Danish Dough Whisk & Bread mixer is awesome! The quality is excellent. The long wood handle is sturdy and the wire loops are thick and substantial. It has very good grip feel, meaning the handle was neither to long or to short. It didn’t seem awkward, heavy or cumbersome at any time. It gave me surprisingly good control of the dough. Reduced splashes of liquid or flour keeping everything that belonged in the bowl, stayed in the bowl.. The price is right and they send a bowl scraper as well. Nice perk I’m keeping it handy and using with much more than dough!

Think you don't need it, but you do.
I hate products that aren't really needed. I learned everything from my polish grandma who made hundreds of pierogis at a time all by hand with no fancy tools. So when I started making artisan bread at home and saw this I scoffed. But then I saw several youtubers that use it and since it was inexpensive I gave it a try. I am never going back. It's so easy to use, so sturdy and strong and so very easy to clean. I absolutely love mixing my bread dough with this. I often bypass my kitchen aid mixer to use this thing, it's so much quicker. Highly recommended.

Makes a HUGE difference!
I am not a baker and, for some reason, have no desire to knead dough and do all that stuff. However, I do make "batter breads" for my husband. I have a great recipe for an English Muffin Loaf that he can slice up fresh every day, which he really enjoys. But with batter breads, there inevitably comes a time when you can barely beat the incredibly heavy, sticky dough because it's sticking to the mixing bowl. I've struggled with the dough and the mixing bowl being so stuck together that when I try to stir it, the bowl actually lifts off the counter. No bueno. Sometimes I feel like I'm Lucille Ball in a cooking episode where everything is going terribly wrong. Problem solved with this handy dandy little dough mixer. The curved metal slides nicely against the bowl, separating it from the dough. It cuts through that sticky, dense mass and facilitates mixing in all that flour still at the bottom. A neat little curved piece of heavy plastic comes with it that makes it easy to scrape out the dough into the baking pan. It's eliminated the frustration from the process. Bueno!

Didn't know I kneaded one until I got it!
Ever mindful of new and improved methods of achieving the same task with easier or better results without the massive expenditure of cash or time I found myself reading the reviews of this dough whisk and thought, what the heck, after all it would not be the first thing that I had purchased only to find that after a couple of uses I simply didn't like it and sequestered to the back of the "junk" drawer. Besides that I like getting Amazon packages. That being said I bought one. When it arrived I was impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the whisk, it really appears to be built to last. Within hours of its arrival I had the opportunity to put it to use whipping up a couple of loaves of wheat bread. I have in the past always relied on using a wood spoon and have never really had any reason to change, it worked just fine. This whisk, however strange it may appear, not only made the job easier, it performed three times better than my trusty wood spoon and the end results were better as well. I have since used it at least ten times and while I am not ready to retire my wood mixing spoon I can assure you that it will never be used for whisking dough again and this Danish Dough Whisk has earned a top spot in my "go-to" drawer. Really really nice tool and well worth the dough that it cost (sorry, couldn't resist). Five stars from me without question.

Very sturdy
This was a great purchase. I love it for mixing pancakes because it’s easy to use, it mixes everything well without over mixing, and it’s easy to clean. Using a regular whisk for pancakes mixes it too much and the regular whisk is hard to clean but this one works great. I’ve also used it for making quick breads and it really does a great job because you can scrape down to the bottom of the bowl with the way it’s shaped. It’s much larger than I expected and very sturdy so I don’t think it’ll break with all the use it’s going to get.
