Look as good as the well known name brands
The box was heavy and that is a good sign. I was concerned these could be less dense foam. Deadening sound requires some mass and these have it. I am mounting above the engine compartment of a 1976 VW camper which you may know is technically inside the vehicle. I’m apply these under the bench seat and then across the top of the engine compartment. Material is easy enough to cut so I can shape for the access hatch panel. Some people may want strong adhesive but I don’t need much. This seems plenty strong. If you’re price shopping, these seem to have a good return on investment.

Thin but effective and priced right
This Stinger deadener is thin but effective and priced right for it's class. It is quite easy to work with, and didn't slice up my hands nearly as much as other products. I'd say Resonix products are top tier, and this is one of 1.5 levels down, but it still performs well. I'll likely buy again if it stays the same price.

Easy to apply, was not disappointed, 10 outta 10 would buy again
Bought 1 box and covered my entire roof and rear hatch of a 2010 Tahoe and had enough left to put a sheet on each door. Easy to work with, deadened a great deal of the sound and would definitely order again in the future.

Works for me!
I used this in my son's F250 stereo install. We swapped out all four door speakers so I put some in the door and on a majority of the doors. I also put it on the floor of the cab front and rear to help control vibrations and road noise, you can't really tell now because he cut out the muffler!!

A great improvement in reduced vibrations and quieter cabin
I recently got the Stinger 80mil aluminum butyl sound deadening material for my truck, and it's made a noticeable difference in the quality of my driving experience. The material is designed to reduce noise and metal vibrations when applied to the metal surfaces of the car, and it definitely delivers. After installation, I found that road noise and general rattling sounds were significantly reduced, making for a much quieter and more enjoyable ride, especially on highways or rougher roads. The box comes with 36 square feet of material, spread across 27 individual sheets that measure 12" x 16" each. This was more than enough to cover the areas I needed, including the rear panel, doors, and the floor board of my truck. The durability of this material is impressive -it has a dense, sturdy feel to it due to the aluminum layer, which ensures it won't tear or peel easily once applied. The included installation instructions call for the use of denatured alcohol to ensure the surface is oil, dust or residue clean and dry before applying the sheets. The use of a roller tool to firmly press and bond the material to the surface is highly recommended to ensure proper adhesion and prevent lifting. The roller tool is not included and sold in different sizes, I got the smaller one in case I needed to roll it along tighter spaces. It’s a bit of a time-consuming process, but once it bonds to the surface, it will not easily peel off. Since installing this Stinger sound deadening mat, I’ve noticed a great improvement in reduced vibrations and quieter cabin which makes a big difference, especially on longer trips. I’d definitely recommend installing this material if you’re looking to cut down on noise and create a smoother, more peaceful driving experience. It's worth the time and effort for the benefits it provides.

Great for door rattles!
I used this Deadening Material on the doors of my Audi A3 cabriolet. I have the B& O stereo and it pushes a lot of base for a stock system. After a few years, that shook all kinds of stuff in the doors. So I took the panels off and covered every surface I could with this material. I've done this with other cars using different materials, but this Stinger brand stuff is REALLY easy to work with. Make sure to get a roller to fully compress the glue when you install this. The roller will increase the effect at least 10-15% in my opinion. It will also make sure that nothing peels off in a year or two.
