A real useful harness for elder dogs
This lift harness is very useful for my 12-years-old, medium-sized dog. My dog has a little bit waddle during walking, especially the hind legs. I used this harness to help him for walking with the two lift handlers. Also, I took advantage of the multiple lift handlers to help him for simple exercises and a little bit longer walking. The handlers and vest are made of high-quality materials. The design, especially the adjustable straps, is too complicated for the first time. But, once you know how to set up, the harness can provide all kinds of supports for different activities, such as walking, slowly running, and simple grooming.

Stellar support harness
I forever-foster Bailey, a senior dog from Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary. For reference: Bailey is a 56-pound Blue Tick coonhound who has Cushing's as well as some neurological and muscular issues. She has a heavy front end, big barrel chest, a pot belly and then a tiny little waist and groin. The area along her spine behind her rib cage and before her hips has sunken, leaving her spine as a ridge line. Her hip bones are pretty prominent and her hip and back leg muscles are weakening/degenerating.Bailey has issues with her hind end not working quite like it used to (she can lift her tail to poop but doesn't wag it at all) and often falls down (her hind legs twist together and she just...sits without wanting to). The Sanctuary sent her home with me with a good harness, but it was a bit loose and just didn't seem to suit her body shape when all the straps were tightened up. Plus, that harness' straps often got poop on them because the design put them too close to the danger zone. I also need to lift her into the car and help her leap out of the car (her choice, not mine). This harness, though, fits her beautifully. I bought her the medium size; large would have been too big for her. The straps were easy to tighten; the straps on her butt don't get close to her genitals. As a bonus: it looks fantastic on her! The rear handle is perfectly placed to lift her rear end when she needs help. After spending a weekend with this harness on Bailey, I've found that the front handle placement is slightly odd-feeling, but the harness' design provides adequate chest support so it ends up being a fine placement. Bailey wore this all weekend without any sore spots developing. The photo of her in it shows a moment when her hind end gave out on her. She needed help standing again - fellow dog park goers don't seem to mind helping her up when I can't get there as quickly as they can. A few have remarked on this harness and asked for the link - which I happily gave to them.I would definitely order this again.

I must edit my review.....This gave my high strung furry friend a new lease on life!
The media could not be loaded. Edit: I took her out and this happened during our walk when a car was not paying attention and blew through the crosswalk. I pulled her back and the top ripped back about four inches. Luckily at the same time I was lifting her with the handle on the vest and it just knocked us backward. I am lucky she wasn't hit and obviously this item is not as well stitched as it appears. I am removing 3 stars for cheap stitching. Also the buckle on the lead is weak as well. It will not close all the way now just from me pulling her to safety. This is not durable and I do not want my review to cost a dog or a human life, so I am removing on star for the weak metal clasp. Please disregard my initial review. We took on a pup about a year and a half ago, that someone had literally tossed out their vehicle window. We had it checked at the vet and it had PARVO, and they just abandoned it when it needed a human most. We took her to the Vet ,and after 4 days of intensive 24 hour care, she made it ! Thing is, she was the sweetest but she loves to RUN. We have a .85 acre yard ,but that's not enough for her. She is a Houdini when it comes to a tie out at potty time, and she's just GONE! She runs the street, the fields nearby, the road,AND she barks at and chases CARS! THERES NO CATCHING HER,she comes home when SHE decides. I've tried EVERYTHING to stop this, long walks, hugs and playtime, treats ,etc. I've trained Rottweilers in the past that were amazing in behavior, but this little lady is a wild card. I told my kids that we were going to have to find her a new home. I couldn't bear to watch her be hurt or WORSE, but she just thought of all of us as dogs too, UNTIL I ordered this. I wanted to be able to handle her on my own, and try taking her to her favorite places on a leash, maybe she'd get tired of those places and stop breaking OUT of the house or off the tie out.( Yes,she can open ANY door) When I put this on her, you'd have thought she was chosen as worlds greatest dog. She didn't want to take it off! She began walking RIGHT AWAY without pulling, she would heel with nothing more than a reminder, and she wanted to sleep in it and moaned like a dying calf in a hailstorm when I took it off of her. This morning, she brought it to me to put on her. THIS is her security blanket !It gets her well. Her measurements were in between the medium and large,so I went with large as she's long and built like a dalmatian and English setter mix. It fit her perfectly as her back measurement was 22" Everything else about it is adjustable, but the length was the thing that made me upside. It's well made out of a canvas type material and has adjustable rear leg straps, and abdominal strap and a chest strap. She is so content in this and I can't believe how happy she is. I wondered about it being heavy or uncomfortable on her, but she seems quite HAPPY with the Comfort. If it had been $100 it would have been a great VALUE for the money, it may have just saved her life.Keep a prayer for her !I'll post a photo tomorrow. She's asleep right now, 🐶💤

I like it, but I feel it should be a little wider on the back

Useful Accessory
My service dog is just a wee bit short for me to use the vest handle so got this to bridge the gap. It’s REALLY nice. The hasps are very sturdy and securely attach, are not difficult to operate (for those with special hands). The handle extension is firm., the crossbar has velcro added for rectangular patch (a nice feature). The accessory feels sturdy giving peace of mind when working with your Companion.
