Gran Luchito Mexican Chipotle Mayo 180g (Pack of 2)

I don't normally write reviews for products, but I thought this mayo really does warrant one. I received one jar as a gift a month ago with a popular recipe ingredient supplier and polished it off pretty quickly. I am back to buy more now - this twin pack is perfect as I will give one jar to a friend. The taste is a smokey, creamy chilli mayo and is like nothing else - not too hot, but just right. I can't rate Luchito smoked Chilli mayo enough! It is superb with everything - chips, sandwiches, burgers, dipping veg and bread in etc.I would recommend you try it - you wont be disappointed.

I think I originally bought one of these jars at the taste of London show. It was the most delicious mayo I had ever tasted! We used it just as a dip but also added tuna for a tuna mayo jacket potato. Needless to say, the jar didn't last long.when I bought the jar I must have given me email address as I kept receiving emails from Gran Luchito not realising what it was. The other day I finally opened one and read it and it bought back how good this mayo sauce.Couldn't believe it when I saw how cheap it was for two jars on Amazon. One jar really isn't enough at the rate I eat it.Would highly recommend this mayo, it is amazing!!

It's great and can be used in so many ways. Hot or cold in cooking or spread. I lobe the flavour

This is such a great flavour mayo. Has a kick but doesn't taste sweet. Goes so well in a grilled chicken flatbread and also mixed into a macaroni cheese! Love the stuff. Really pleased to find it for sale here after one of the big supermarkets stopped stocking it.

I don't like hot spices so I was greatly - and pleasantly - surprised when I tasted this smoked chilli mayo for the first time, it is AWESOME! In fact I am so addicted to the great taste that I am putting it in, on or around everything I eat from mashed potato to chips, sandwiches etc. etc. This is the second order i have had and this time I ordered 2 jars. I have almost used one jar already. Just as good in its own way is the smoked chilli ketchup- but that's another story for a different product review!More power to your elbow El Capitan and hope you products are selling by the millions of jars because they should

I used to buy this on a regular basis from tescos but since Brexit, I haven't seen it on the shelf, I ended up getting covid and lost my taste and smell, it is slowly returning- very slowly, but strong flavours help, this stuff is full of flavour :D

Nothing really special about this which was disappointing. It had that sort of’ fatty’ aftertaste, not for me.

My wife recently bought this mayo on our weekly shop - never tried it before - it was superb. We have not been able to find it again in either of our two local supermarkets, so we ordered 2 jars from Amazon costing just £3.50 per jar delivered. It adds extra flavour to sandwiches, brilliant inside a toasted pitta bread with any savory sandwich filler, also spices up canapés and other 'finger bite' foods. We will certainly try adding it to some of our cooking as well. We are now going to try other Gran Luchito products after enjoying this gorgeous smoked chilli mayo.Thank you 'El Capitan' !

Bien que cette mayonnaise épicée se consomme tout à fait bien, j'avoue une légère déception, je m'attendais à quelque chose de plus caractéristique. Du coup, voici une recette de mayonnaise qui fait un "dip" du tonnerre :mélangez en gros 60% de mayonnaise ( japonaise  si vous avez, c'est meilleur) avec 40% de  Mango pickle  passé au mixer (pour éviter les gros morceaux de mangue). Le bon gout du chipotle fumé sans trop de piquant dans une mayonnaise qui sort de l ordinaire ! Elle est idéale avec des chips de mais a l apéritif ou pour relever vos plats mexicains ou autre.Je vais peut etre me laisser tenter par le Ketchup au chipotle Gran Luchito...pour changer un peu !

Ich hab es normal nicht so mit Saucen, aber diese scharfe Mayonnaise ist toll zu gegrillten Fleisch! Sie ist für mich auch wirklich scharf, aber nicht zu scharf. Man gewöhnt sich an die Schärfe.

Disappointing. I was expecting a more robust flavour

Schmeckt gut und hat eine angenehme Schärfe. Wie auf dem Glas empfohlen, schmeckt die Chili Mayo auf dem Brot, zum Kochen oder im Salat sehr gut. Wer bei Schärfe sehr empfindlich ist, sollte ein bisschen Acht geben, da bei größeren Mengen das Chili sich durchaus bemerkbar macht.
