I ordered 2 of these necklaces, on different dates. Both necklaces were to feature the same moon phased based on the date. I received the first necklace, today, and was let down that it didn't have the proper moon phase on the image and insert card that came with the necklace. I instantly contacted the seller, and was met with a prompt response. I was told by customer service --and I quote-- "The moon phase on 12/22/2007 was a Waxing Gibbous with 98% illumination, which visually appears as a full moon. That’s why I made a “Full Moon” design for you." I was unaware of this level of detail, but I appreciate the care in giving the most accurate representation of what the moon would have looked like that night. Customer service was very prompt to suggest sending a replacement necklace that had a more "waxing gibbous" look to it, they even provided me with an updated tracking number for the replacement necklace. Upon talking with them further, I decided to keep the necklaces as is (since the second necklace I ordered will match the first one) and just have updated cards sent with the correct moon phase on them, instead of it being listed as a "full moon". My only complaint is that i wish the seller would have contacted me prior to shipping my order to make sure the changes were copacetic, instead of me being blind sided by them when my item arrived. I appreciate that they were trying to give me an image of the moon that was the most accurate to that night, and to me that goes above and beyond in terms of design and thought on the seller's end. Had I had been contacted initially, and was aware of "WHY" changes were made, and asked if that was ok, I would have left a 5* review. The product its self is stunning. The image of the moon that is on the pendant is extremely clear (looks better in person than in the pictures!). The engraving on the back turned out perfectly as well! The necklace itself is well crafted, and the chain that it comes on is a very sturdy and balances perfectly with the weight/size of the pendant. I can not wait to give this to my husband for his birthday! I think he will absolutely love it, and after seeing his, i can not wait for mine to arrive as well :) Customer service was also phenomenal, and was able to fix the issues that I did have with the pendant, with a very fast response time (within minutes of messaging). My only complaint is that I wish the seller would have reached out to me initially with the changes that were made, because it could have saved a headache later on of thinking i received the wrong item.
