Grown Alchemist Hydra-Restore Day Cream Facial Daily Moisturizer, 65 mL

I like that this facial moisturizer absorbs quickly into my skin and it leaves my skin moisturized and nourished. It is suitable for my sensitive skin and it does not cause any allergies or irritations. This day cream has a noticeable scent but it does not really irritate me. Even though it is relatively expensive, I think that this skincare product offers good value for money because it delivers effective hydration for my sensitive skin.

This is a good moisturizer overall. The cream has a slightly thick consistency and a strong fragrance, which might not be for everyone. Because of that, I’ll probably be using it mostly at night.It does take a bit of rubbing in, but once absorbed, it doesn’t leave behind any greasy or oily residue, which I really appreciate. It feels nourishing without being heavy. I think is great for dry skin that needs a little extra care.

I love this brand for the quality ingredients and that it is vegan and does not test on animals. I love that this is a day cream, it feels like a strong moisturizer without clogging my pores. Yes it is thick enough to use at night, but this feels great for day time use. I prefer it on days where I go without makeup. It still helps my face feel quenched and thus dewy.. gives me a bit more confidence to go makeup free!

Light cream that’s still moisturizing. I have really dry skin, but during the day, I also wear a lot of sunscreen and I like a lighter face cream. This one does a great job keeping my skin comfortable. It dries down to a soft matte look, even after two layers. But I am taking stars off because the geranium and/or rosehip oil scent is so strong! What’s crazy is that I have long covid and my sense of smell has been very off. But this is potent enough to give me a headache. Sadly the scent lingers on me for a long time. This would be a great day cream if it was scent-free.

This Grown Alchemist day cream has a medium weight to it and it absorbs into my skin very quickly without any shine. I tend to prefer water-creams for daytime, but this cream, which is on the thicker side, still feels light enough for daytime use and moisturizes very well. It does have a floral geranium scent, but I love it. I don’t find it strong at all, but very feminine and pleasant. It’s also unusual to see face creams in a tube, but I think it’s great since it keeps the product more sanitary. Overall, I really like this moisturizer and look forward to seeing what else Grown Alchemist has to offer.

It was hydrating but smells very strong of geranium. I don’t recommend this for dry or sensitive skin.

This is very hydrating and creates a fresh and radiant look. The cream has a light cucumber like scent, but that may be coming from the ingredients themselves, it doesn't have a scented quality. This is rich in texture and sinks into skin very nicely without any cast. I love the healthy glow it creates and how well it hydrates. It also wears nicely under makeup without having to add a primer. I find most products smooth easily over this and blend nicely with minimal effort.I would buy this again and would feel confident recommending it to friends.

This moisturizer does give your skin some good hydration. For my combination skin, it’s really only reasonable for me to use it at night. It’s pretty thick and takes some work to rub in entirely. It leaves a bit of a film which is fine for an emollient product overnight, but my skin already gets oily during the day.There is a pretty heavy fragrance which some (including me) may find a little off putting.
