My 7 year old grand daughter was completely engaged with this years advent calendar. These potions were so fun for Her and Mom to create every day. Good quality little bottles and glitter. Worth every penny!

There are NO directions! There are some items, I can only assume are chemicals, because they are not listed but included.

The first day was getting all the fun stuff you can't use, because there's no bottle. Second and third day were food coloring. Finally the fourth day we got a bottle, well actually by then we just turn the darn thing open. Quality supplies and super cute but the first three days were a major bummer.

Gifted this and the kid loves it

There are not really any instructions with this. It would have be nice for each day it tell you what potion to make for the bottle you open. The special glitter you need for some of the potions is all mixed in one tube. The glitter should be in resealable bags so the don't get all over if you do one a day. My daughter and I waited to do all to potions at one time to not loose any glitter.

Bottles are incredibly small and hard to pull out of the box. A lot of the ingredients are too big for the small bottle openings. Most of the recipes require items that you dont get until later in the calendar. Not impressed.

I purchased 2 of these for my goddaughters for this years advent. They were excited at first but there is no direction or ideas on what do with them afterwards. They are building the same potion over the last week.
