Perfect pouf
I wanted a small pouf to use as a foot rest and this was perfect. I filled it with 3 throws I was not using and it provided the right amount of fullness. No smell, great workmanship and good quality leather; I would highly recommend this pouf for anyone that has space limitations. The description said “kid size” but if you are using it as a foot rest this size works.

Love these!
Nice leather, sturdy construction, great size, super-versatile. We stuffed them with the foam from old sofa cushions. Flat enough for a tray; right height for ottoman. My shipment (two poufs) had none of the odor others mentioned. Just a great value for the price-point.

Fabulous product and price! Now about the smell.... it's literally poop
I ordered the (mustard) yellow color and it's perfect! Very well made and just beautiful. ZERO nasty smell just a bit of leather smell if you stick your nose really close to the opening. As it should be.I purchased the exact same item 6 years ago (different seller) for a lot more $ and it unfortunately had that DREADED smell. This is before Amazon started free returns and since I purchased it filled, it was way too expensive to return myself. I tried everything I could find on the internet and wasted a lot more money trying to get rid of the STENCH. You could smell it as soon as you walked in to my home and the closer you got, the more unbearable it was. The thing ended up living outside on my balcony for the next few years. At some point about 7 months later after a lot of rain and sun, the smell became faint but was still there. I was extremely hesitant to ever buy another one. What I just learned is that the smell comes from the leather tanning process in Morocco, where these are from. The "cheap" budget way to tan leather is as follows: It begins with raw animal skins being soaked in a mixture of cow urine, pigeon poop, quicklime, salt and water. The quicklime helps to remove the hair from the skins, while the acid in the urine and pigeon poop softens the skins. They are kept soaking in massive vats. In short, these things are permeated with disgusting processing materials and if the vendor lacks the machinery to properly treat them, then you will end up with the most unpleasant surprise of your life when yours arrives. It is very unlikely you can remedy the problem so you are much better off returning it.One of the BIGGEST flaws of the Amazon Review system is that often times you are "reviewing" products from different vendors and often times you are "reading" reviews of items from different vendors. However, the genius that is Amazon has finally provided us with an IMPRESSIVE hassle-free return policy on almost everything. Use it to your advantage if negative reviews have made you hesitant. I also think the newer policy cuts down the amount of paid-for fake reviews out there. In closing I will say that my Pouf was perfectly packed in a nice brown drawstring bag from Marrakesh Gallery (with tips on filling/cleaning & a cute burlap keychain), it is beautifully made, and also an absolutely outstanding value for the quality and price. I would highly highly recommend!I will update with photos but my cat is currently napping inside of it :)Also FYI. When you fill these properly they will not have any indentations whatsoever. They will look just like the photos. When I removed the poly-fill from my last one it completely filled up TWO 12 gallon trash bags! The fiber had zero color transfer or mold on it even though it had been outside in the elements for years. They are very solidly constructed.I plan on storing seasonal blankets in my new one but I will first put them in storage bags. That way I can freely stuff in any gaps with poly-fill. If you access yours daily or frequently, that probably won't work for you.

Nicely made and beautiful to look at.
I love this leather pouf. Mine has a lovely slight colour variation, but is mostly tan as advertised. It is soft and quite thick, with a strong zipper. I stuffed mine with old blankets and towels, and it looks perfect. It took a lot to fill it to an even shape, but what a great way to get rid of ugly old items from my linen cupboard! It had a really nice new leather smell for a couple of days that seems to be gone now. Do watch the zipper if you have wood floors. You can't drag the pouf to move it unless you cap or coat the zipper tab with tape or a rubber cap or it will scratch the floor. My friend paid three times this amount for a similar pouf, and on comparison, mine is just as nice! Only difference is hers came with some stuffing in it which is not as nice and even as my DIY stuffing. This is a great buy. I am extremely pleased with it!
