An aesthetician I would go to in the city I lived in before now used to paint my nails chrome. It required a base coat, then white or black coat, then chrome powder, and so on for three layers of the chrome powder. They were gorgeous, but they took forever to do. I haven't been able to find anyone who does fabulous chrome like my old aesthetician did. Then I found this OPI color. I am in love! I need just two coats to look great (along with base and top coats). The polish lasts without chipping for 10 - 12 days. And I'm always getting positive comments about the color!

I had seen a previous review that warned that this really black and not blue, as advertised - they are completely wrong! This is a beautiful deep iridescent blue with a shimmer in it. It glides on smoothly and gives good coverage as typical of OPI colors. If you like deep colors, especially ones with shimmer, you will love this polish. It came well protected with multiple layers of bubble wrap. My only issue with it, and the reason for a loss of a star is that it is difficult to get all of the stray glitter off of your fingers during the removal process. I use a clean removal technique of tearing off small pieces of cotton that are saturated with Zoya Remove+, and place on each nail tip for about 30 seconds before swiping straight down cleaning off all the polish; only having to clean off stray amounts that may have clung to the edges. Even with this technique, I still get manage to find glitter all over my fingers that I have to wash over and over again before i begin reworking my hands.

I’m in recovery mode from acrylics e.g., I have some major nail damage so I need to give them a break. I got the OPI gel like set of the base and top coat in addition to this one in the color: shimmer takes all and I love it. applies super easily and dries quickly which surprised me. I only did one coat, I wanted it to be super neutral and it’s this beautiful light shimmering color that isn’t glittery shimmer, reminds me of the inside of shells, the perfect pearlescent. so far nail polish has held up well but my nail beds aren’t great so I expect after a week of wear I might need to redo. start to finish took me just over a half hour and it’s a great daily color with protection. Will look for more colors in this same formula.

I was looking for more of a glittery enhanced white. This is a shimmer white which is fine. It takes 2-3 coats to get good coverage and stays on for about a week. I generally touch it up with a clear coat halfway through the week. Dries fast. This is a nice product which I would buy again. Recommend.
