This is a great inexpensive, blood glucose monitor in case you do not have insurance. It works great and I have not had any issues using it. The set up was very easy to understand making the device easy to use. I would highly recommend this product. It’s really worth it test strips and quality is good .

I've used one touch for y ears and the insurance replaced my one touch ultra with the one touch vario. It is a nice meter but I didn't feel it was very accurate since the lab tests vary quite a bit. I bought the kit and with the test strips and lancets included and a meter with a backlight the price is amazing. It is easy to use and I love the lancet ejector on the meter. There is a ten number difference between the two meters but I just started to use both. A great buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will continue with this meter.

I purchased this meter to replace my old device that was having some electrical issues and wasting strips.This G-425-2 meter has a nice large screen, and works quickly. It does not take a large amount of blood to measure my glucose levels and allows you to add blood if you put too little on initially (my old meter made you throw a strip away and start over, which was annoying).Included in this kit was a lancing device and 100 test strips, so all I needed. The lancing device is the best one I have ever used! It feels like there is a spring inside that allows the lancet to bounce off your finger rather than jam in--most days I don't feel the lancet at all.It is nice that I can quickly obtain test strips for this on Amazon, so I know I can replace my strips in a day or two. This meter is as accurate as any other meter I have owned, so it performs well for me.Nice meter, and a great value!

Reading could not be trusted and we’re all over the place so it is unless—however the case itself was good and lancing device and associated lancets along with test strips were fine but what good does that do you if readings are not reliable

My blood pressure monitor was really good I nedded to know if I was diabetic or not but thank God this monitor was easy to use and very accurate I am at peace because my blood glucose was fine Thank you for this great product

These were pretty accurate for test strips. Good price, but don't know where to order more strips.

This is a great, easy to use, and accurate kit providing all you need to monitor your blood glucose with accuracy. There's no fussing with a control solution so it's really easy to use. There's even a nice carrying case so you can take it on the go. The instructions are really clear and easy to follow. The only thing missing is the alcohol swabs. It has a memory function and stores your readings for you so you can track trends. The screen is large and easy to read. It only needs a tiny amount of blood and completes testing in 5 seconds, shown as a countdown on the screen. It comes with 100 lancets and 100 test strips.

Looking for a backup meter for travelling. Nice and compact and inexpensive. I use a calibrated meter and did a comparison between G-425 and my Verio One Touch. I tested both meters on the same drop of blood. The Verio read 82 and the G-425 read 136. Later I tested again, Verio:115, G-425 195. Clearly the meter was defective or may have been damaged enroute.If you depend on these meters for insulin dosages please compare with a calibrated meter.It was an excellent price for a glucose meter, was well made and easy to read. They also included lots of strips and other accessories. It would have been a keeper, but I was issued a timely refund and was also contacted by the vendor to see if there was anything they could do, but I had already ordered another brand, at a higher price.I wouldn't hesitate to try another one in future.
