I feed them green water, that I ordered from ebay. They also do well on Spirulina tabs by Micro Nutrients ( I bought on Amazon ( just cut into) plop a half n the water the day they hatch. I got tons of eggs left in the capsules. I only hatched a few to start with and they just keep multiplying!!!! Fast as I can blink my 👀 eyes. My Betta fish as himself a time just chasing them around and sucking them up. They are tiny n he can have as many as he wants. Imagine that.....a FREE FOOD DIET.Lucky little Fishie‼️ I think my shrimp may be helping him out🙏🙏🙏

I have a daphnia magna culture already and wanted to start a moina culture as well. What a waste of money and time these eggs were! Not a single one hatched and I am know what I am doing! Don’t waste your money on these, if you want eggs go with the ones another seller has on Amazon because they should hatch if done correctly. These ones are most likely too old to be viable . Wish I could return them!

On the third day some began to hatch, a lot of duds because they tend to stick above the water line no mater how you mix or wash down the sides. If this is your first go with these guys they are tiny about the size of a pin tip but you can see them moving if you look through the tank with a light much smaller than the eggs they come out of. I could see someone flushing them as a fail just because how small they are.

The media could not be loaded. They hatched within 24 of putting them in 84f temp water

What I found out was the eggs were not daphia but water fairies. After letting them grow they look like brine shrimp but for fresh water not salt. Will not by again. Feels like a scam.
