We bought this nest swing for our fifteen-year-old autistic son, Luke, because we hoped to replace the rope swing in our living room with something slower and safer- like this giant tee-pee of a swing. His swing is essentially a rope with a tiny seat (think zipline), and he rides it from one side of the living room to the other like a maniac. It cuts across the width of our home and we've all gotten pretty good at timing our steps with the human pendulum of doom- the dogs even know when it's safe to cross. We put up with "Luke du Soleil" because he’s deliriously happy flying through the air; however, after a couple of minor mishaps (books kicked off shelves, a couple of swings too close to the flat screen) we decided to try something a little more sedate. We settled on this swing- it’s easy to assemble and definitely big enough for a fifteen year old. I even stuffed it with body pillows and watched a movie in it myself, but, unfortunately, we can't convince Luke that this calm, comfortable swing is better than screaming through the air like Tarzan. So, we put his beloved Tarzan vine back up. I'm still giving this swing five stars because the rest of us will be enjoying this swing on our covered patio. It's a quality product and a lot bigger than I imagined. Five stars.

My husband and I easily assembled the swing in just a few minutes. It has clear directions and pictures to go with.The rope to hang the swing is sturdy and strong, as is the swing itself. We had the whole thing up and ready to go in about 15 minutes.The granddaughters really enjoy it! It has enough room for them to take their dolls and stuffed animals in the swing with them and everyone has a fun time.

My son is nonverbal autistic and a high sensory seeking individual. He loved being in this little cocoon and looking out the windows and spinning himself. It came with a rope, but we ended up using a chain we already had for peace of mind. Highly recommend. He's 8 and it's plenty large enough for an additional child to also sit comfortably and he can lay out in it. Because of its length, it's also very low to the ground which makes getting in and out very easy for kids

Very nice swing autistic grandson loves it. BUT the mount it comes with and mounting rope, trash them from day one. Get a better mount and a better strap to hang it. Within 2 days there rope mount and eye bold started coming loose . After I got better mounting with swivels and strap works perfect. Only other trouble wasIT STARTED TO TEAR AND SEAMS CAMEAPART after about 8 months. The seller did warranty replacement for me. I was glad. Now on month 3 or replacement and all good.

This swing was used by a 80 pound kid daily with sporadic use throughout each day. Clearly the 250 pound capacity is false as advertised. Additionally, due to this product ripping, it poses a significant safety hazard to the kiddos falling. I would not recommend purchasing this product.

We bought this pod for our son's room and he loves it (we also have another one for our daughter). The kids get such a kick out of hanging out in them and will hang out in them for hours playing or reading.The fabric of sewn together well and seems very durable. I have washed out daughters a few times already and have not noticed any seems coming apart. When taking apart to wash, I recommend hang dry and not the dryer to help prevent any shrinking.

Bought for my 7 year old grandson. Hung in in his room. This has become his favorite spot to read and play video games. Had a over a year now and still seems to be holding up good. No complaints yet

This swing is great! My two kids fit really nicely in it with room to spare--I expect it will last them a long time. The swing is easy to assemble and sturdy. We chose to ditch the rope that came with it to hang it and use a swing strap for security instead. If you want it to swing wildly, make sure you have a BIG, OPEN space; we use it mostly for porch swing type swinging and reading and daydreaming.
