Such a nice change from your typical "A is for Apple" ABC book! This book is perfect for a wide age range.

This is such a fun book. I bought it for my great granddaughter’s first birthday. Her mother majored in biology, and her grandmothers are a nurse and a veterinarian. They all loved it! Very cool if there’s a family connection.

This is the third time I've bought this baby book for a friend having a baby. As a HS biology teacher, this is sooooo amazing. My favorite is D is for Drosophila melanogaster. Infinite/10

My 2yr old son loved it so much. he reads it everyday. He basically loved books, so its not a surprise for him to like reading but what made this book interesting is the colorful pictures and alphabets and words. He is exited to open and read this book. he learned a lot in a very short span.

Illustrations aren't good, but the concept is cute and I enjoy reading it to my baby

This book is awesome! There are some illustrations and facts on each page and it will grow with your child through several stages. Right now my 2 year old is able to identify most of the pictures and will tell me "B is for bacteria!" while pointing to the picture. Then there is a simple fact about bacteria on that page, which is appropriate for a slightly older child. And my toddler is also starting to take the knowledge and apply it elsewhere. She has seen things in other places that she can identify because of the book, such as a brain, a virus, and a microscope. Overall I think it's a fantastic introduction to science and I'll certainly order more from this series.

Love this series, really interesting as I have learned more than my child! Illustrations could be better but I would still really recommend as it’s great for introducing new things to your child and they will not grow out if it quickly.

Je suis devenu un vrai fan de ces livres, tout comme mon fils. Bien qu'il soit encore un peu jeune pour en profiter pleinement, ils commencent très simplement et je suis convaincu qu'ils l'aideront à travers les premières étapes de la scolarité. Chaque livre de la série part du même point conceptuel d'une «balle», quelque chose auquel la plupart des enfants peuvent s'identifier, et dans la plupart des cas, vous pouvez en trouver un autour de la maison pour aider à visualiser davantage le contenu. La fin du livre peut être un peu complexe même pour les adultes mais cela n'empêche pas mon fils de m'aimer essayer d'expliquer ce qui se passe. Bien: - Livres intelligents pour enfants et adultes - Éducatif tout en s'amusant - Thème cohérent tout au long de la série Mauvais: - Je ne suis même pas sûr de comprendre. Je recommande pleinement ce livre et les autres de la série à tout parent ou tuteur. ==== ==== ==== ==== I have become a real fan of these books, and so has my son. Although he is still a bit young to fully enjoy them, they start very simple, and I am convinced they will help him through the early stages of schooling. Each book in the series starts from the same concept point of a “ball” , something that most children can relate to, and in most cases you can find one around the house to help further visualize the content. The ending of the book can be a bit complex even for the adults but that doesnt stop my son from loving me try to explain what is happening. Good: - Clever books for children and adults - Educational whilst fun - Consistent theme throughout the series Bad: - I'm not sure even I understand. I fully recommend this book and the others in the series to any parent or guardian.

The A B C of Biology is definitely a good way to introduce children with the basic elements of science.
