Easy setup and works in my home and studio. Update: Main line started leaking and it caught it within seconds so I was able to turn the water off and save hundreds.

I bought this after reading a review on Wirecutter which mentioned how common water leaks are and how monitors are very easy to install. After setting up the base with the app you can add the monitor pucks with two clicks. I like this kit because it has four monitors and they are not silent, they have a very loud alarm. I don't need to connect it to Alexa or a third party app. Within a month of installing these monitors I was outside in front of my house and the phone alarm blared. I rushed to the kitchen and water was leaking from under my sink. In maybe 30-40 seconds the cabinet under the sink was covered in water but hadn't seeped to the floor yet. If I hadn't caught it so quickly the damages would have been very significant. Water will ruin your house. Get these alarms!

Don’t buy anything else. Works perfectly. I tried a different brand rated better than Xsense. Wish I would have known about Xsense sooner. Easy to set up. Literally took me 5 minutes to test and install . You won’t regret.

These are great. I actually had a leak 3 days after I set these up. It caught it, notified me, and saved the day. I was able to stop the leak before it did any damage. Life savers!!! You need these.

As the picture shows the instruction manual is very small. I had to scan the pages so I could enlarge it enough to read. The instructions said to hold the pair button for 5 sec and the LED on the Base Station would flash yellow then it could be paired with the phone. The LED flashed as soon as it was plugged in and would not pair. A call to Tech Support was answered by a live Tech who went over the troubleshooting procedure. He told me to reboot my phone and call back if that did not work. It did work after that and the install was easy from there on. I tested the sensors with a wet sponge before I put them in place and after. One was placed in the lower level of the house beside the water heater which is isolated in an enclosed space. The alarm sounded at the base station and on my phone and was very loud. I am hard of hearing and I could hear it very well. I need two more sensors but the only package I can find for sensors only has three units, so I will probably get three and find some place to use the extra one. The units have a low battery warning that messages your phone and it uses AAA batteries that are said to last 3 years. I gave it 4 Stars only because the instructions were difficult to read and not very clear in my opinion. It appears to be a very good product at a good price for insurance against a flooded house, even though my insurance company would not give a discount for it.

I have bought several of X-Sense units (Water, Smoke) and so far I am very pleased. Easy to setup and use. I have tested them all with different smoke and water and they seem to be very sensitive and works better than expected. The small size makes them easy to put in spots others wont fit.

We have had water issues as long as we have owned our home. After the last issue earlier this year. I decided to find something to help me have a little peace of mind. Tonight these saved us from dealing with hours of water clean up. The sound is loud and annoying(which I’m thankful for) and we quickly got the water shut off quickly. Also my brother’s little dog licked the top of one and set it off so it’s very sensitive!!

Perfect solution so you have some warning of leaks. I used these in every bathroom, kitchen, laundry room and even by the water heater. Not taking any chances. Easy to set up and you can basically add up to 50 sensors to one hub. Wow! Great app and no subscription cost.

VERY happy with this product! Setup was super easy, and I haven't had any issues with disconnections. I've only had these a few months and they detected a leak under my sink today from an old pipe that had cracked. I liked how insistent it was that I be alerted. The base station alarmed, the app notified me, and I got an email. I don't think I would have noticed the issue for a while, so it likely saved me a bundle in more costly remediation down the line!

Easy setup, and reliable

Pleased with installation ease and that the alarms and notifications ensure you get the message when there is a leak. I just recently had a small leak dur to loose fitting and I was able to resolve the issue with no damage at all. I will be buying additional sensors to ensure we have all our water supply and drainage locations covered.
