I bought these since they were bamboo and stylish with the designs. They work well, they clean up well (I hand wash them), and I haven't had any problems with them. The ridges at the bottom help grab the food and these aren't too smooth where they are slippery to hold.They come in a box and I store them all in there and the box sits in my utensil drawer. With the box being nice, it's easy to gift these to someone.

These chopsticks have everything you need to feel like home. I always handwash my chopsticks because the dishwasher will no doubt ruin the colorful design.Bamboo construction = easier to hold.Ridges at the ends = easier to hold food.Beautiful Japanese design = guests love it.These chopsticks beat all the other terrible styles. Plastic chopsticks are way too flimsy. Fiberglass chopsticks are too slippery and chunky. Not having ridges means your food always slips out.

Nice, functional, good looking and relatively cheap. Great to keep in the glovebox in case we eat thai, chinese or sushi. Much better than free chopsticks at restaurants.Nice enough to purchase and gift as a set or just as pairs - take the work crew to lunch and hand out these nice token gifts. Better yet get the boss to treat the crew to lunch and give these to him/her to distribute ;-)

The designs are really pretty and are good to use for beginners in my opinion. The quality is really good for your first set of chopsticks.

Glad these actually came like the picture and they're so cute! It comes in a little box for storage if you want, and I have been throwing them in the dishwasher (when I'm being lazy) and they've been perfect so far. Still, it's a smoothet surface than plain wooden unreusable chopsticks, but it does the job. Have no regrets and my husband and I use it maybe once or twice a week. Worth it!

So, I think for this review it’s important to mention my husband is Japanese. He is a pretty rough critic when it comes to anything Japanese related. I was worried about buying chopsticks online that I couldn’t physically see and feel, but the only ones I could find in the stores around here were all disposable or horribly made. These chopsticks got his approval!! They aren’t heavy but are very strong, they’re easy to clean, they have grooves at the end for picking up things easier (more for me than for him), and the artwork on the top doesn’t fade or come off in the wash. We both love them! If anything happens to them, I would definitely buy these again

Chopstick styles vary greatly by country, and having spent my formative eating years in Japan, Japanese style chopsticks are the only ones that feel comfortable to me. When I lived in California I had to travel 2 hours round trip to Marukai market to get chopsticks I liked. I purchased the porcelain style chopsticks, and they are Japanese in both style and artistic design. They are elegant in their simplicity and familiar in my hand. We bought 2 boxes.
