Moomin's Touch and Feel Playbook

I absolutely love the Moomin Touch and Feel Playbook! I bought this book for my friend who just had a baby, but I fully confess to reading it myself before sending it on. The book is made with thick board pages, so there is no risk of papercuts for babies or toddlers who don't have fine motor control yet. Each page has some sort of sensory (tactile) applique, from a squishy rubber sun to gritty sandpaper "sand". There are also fluffy clouds to touch, flaps to lift, and more. The colors are bright and warm and happy, and there is lots to look at on every page.This is a great book for introducing very young children to reading and books - there isn't much reading to be done, it's more exploration via looking and touching, which is perfect for pre-readers to get used to holding and interacting with books. I absolutely love the concept and the execution, and I highly recommend this book to fans of Moomins with young children.

My baby girl loves this book. Plenty to talk about and feel and the pages are fun to turn. If you like to Moomins, this is a good buy.

My 2 year old loves this book. It has all different textures, counting, colors, opposites, etc. We read it every night!

gift for nephew, he loves it

My husband is a huge fan of the moomins and has been grown up with them. I've been meaning to buy a moomin book for my husband and our now one year son for a while now to enjoy together. After a lot of searching I came across this play book of the moomins and decided to purchase it as part of a fathers day present. The book is a hard board book and has a lot of different textures, words and colours to enjoy. I did think this was a story book when I ordered it but it's actually more of a book to explore different things such as weather, words, numbers and colours with your little one. Never the less this is a brilliant book and I can't wait until they enjoy this together! Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful book, colorful and entertaining, covering diverse topics (colors, opposites, words, weather, numbers, etc) and very pleasant to look at! I love the silver, sparkling elements inside!

Not suited for kids less than 1-1.5 years. Too small text and very less touch and feel for kids. Ladybird is better.
