This is my 2nd kguard, the 1st one i had for just about a year while surfing. It never let me down and protected my key. I must have caught it somewhere because it got a small cut in it. But it was easy to tell as it wasn't keeping a tiny amount of air in it usually does, so I noticed before getting in the water and replaced it. Its clearly not a wear and tear rip or crack, which is why I decided to get another one. Key safes are only as safe if nobody is trying to steal them. Other waterproof pouches are bulky and prone to cracking and leaking. I never know im wearing. If you want to keep your keys safe while in the water, there isn't anything better. £30 is nothing compared to the cost of a new key.

Great, in principle, except that it had a tiny hole in it. I used it completely according to the manufacturer’s instructions and after 3 uses I saw that my key ring was rusty and my key had salt deposits on it. I tested it in a glass of water and there was a tiny hole in the bottom. I had not used it in any way which would have made such a hole.

Ich möchte der Community meine ehrliche Erfahrung mit diesem Produkt mitteilen, damit andere eine fundierte Kaufentscheidung treffen können. Nach zwei Jahren habe ich nun zwei Exemplare davon verschlissen – und das hat mich insgesamt rund 80 € gekostet. Bei einem Stückpreis von ca. 40 € habe ich eine entsprechende Qualität erwartet, leider wurde ich enttäuscht. Das Silikon ist meiner Meinung nach deutlich zu dünn verarbeitet. Bereits nach verhältnismäßig kurzer Nutzung beim Wassersport entstand ein erstes kleines Loch, das sich dann schnell weiter ausgedehnt hat – das Material reißt förmlich weiter, sobald es erst einmal beschädigt ist. Von einer wirklich strapazierfähigen Qualität kann hier leider keine Rede sein. Für den gelegentlichen Freizeitgebrauch mag das Produkt noch ausreichen, für den regelmäßigen Einsatz beim Wassersport würde ich es jedoch nicht empfehlen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt

Does exactly what it says, waterproof key holder, have tested snorkelling twice. Now use everyday just in case. Easy to use even though the instructions look difficult!
