A Good Product
Assembly - Easy to assemble, but the small screwdriver it comes sith is abnoying to use. I just used my own tools.Materials - Plastic and metal. Honestly, we all know that wood would be nicer. But the use of plastic makes this product cheaper and lightweight.Shape and Structure - Compact. Can be transported easily. The blade is sharp. The pullback is rigid, but feels like it will easy up with repeated use. The blade remains static when pulled away and takes slight pressure to fully pull down. While the mat has easy to use guidelines for quick measurements. There is also a pre-installed guard for safety. After inspection, my assumption is that the screws will need tightening after extended use. But this is typical for all paper cutters.Overall, this is a decent product. I would definitely recommend purchasing this if you work with small scale projects (11 inches or less). Also, it should be noted that not all products are intended to be multi-functional tools. One review complained about not being able to cut through laminate. That is because this product is designed to cut through paper, not plastic. Yes, some paper cutters can cut through laminate. But those are heavy duty ones intended for large, bulky projects. You can still work with laminate (among other appliques) and use this product. But you will need to measure and cut your paper down to size first. Which means you will need a cutting mat, straight edge and an exacto knife (or a steady hand and a pair of scissors) to neatly cut out your laminated prints. This is a compact tool and designed for small batch, small-scale work. The reason I am mentioning this is because there seems to be a misconception in the reviews that lack of multifunctionality equates to cheapness. Secondly, it appears some people don't seem to understand the tier system when it comes to tools. Because they seem to want to cut large batches of paper at a time, and are frustrated that this product will not do that. That is because this product is intended to be used to cut 5-8 pages at a time. To cut thick volumes of 20+ pages at a time requires a heavy duty version. This is no different than if someone were to complain their mini hand drill designed to install curtain brackets can't drill through concrete. It is necessary to consider what the right variety of a tool is needed for different types of projects. I.e. if you want to measure a wall, you don't use a ruler, you use a measuring tape. So, I do encourage you to take a moment and actually consider why you need a paper cutter to begin with. Don't just buy this and then complain about it because it didn't cut a stack of laminated pages. That goes for this product and any other product that you need for your project.

Reliable and Precise Paper Cutter for School and Work!
The paper Cutter Guillotine with Safety Blade Lock is a fantastic tool for both school and work. It cuts smoothly and precisely, handling up to 12 sheets effortlessly with clean, straight edges every time. The cutting length is perfect for standard paper sizes, and the safety blade lock gives me peace of mind when not in use. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and versatile. I’ve used it for trimming documents, flyers, photos, and class projects. Highly recommend this paper cutter for anyone who needs an efficient and reliable trimmer!

For small projects
It works well for a limited small project. It did leave some paper uncut at the end, but easily trimmed with scissors. Overall, I am satisfied.

Great piece for kid's works
Although it looks small, we were hesitant when we first bought it. However, since our child's assignments are not too large, this is completely sufficient. If your child's projects are not very big yet, I would recommend purchasing it. The value for money is excellent.

Guillotine paper cutter.
Well, I cut a couple pieces of construction paper & on the second piece the blade seemed to jam. I carefully lifted the blade & looked @ the bottom guide, found a small dent outward. I slowly brought the blade down & I then saw the problem. The bottom guide rail moved! That’s the problem; there should be more screws to maintain the bottom blade stiff & straight & maybe longer screws & possibly some lock tight so they don’t become loose! I sent it back for refund.

Some manufacturer error, but otherwise works fine
Product seems to be missing holes for screws that are supposed to be on the side of the handle, as well as nuts that are mentioned in the set up instructions. Isn’t the sharpest, it can cut normal letter paper just fine. But anything thicker than that it just bends half of it instead of cut

Love the compact size
There is no problem at all in the assembly. It is easy to handle, and the blade is very sharp. I used to cut cardstock and paper and not issues. It's an excellent replacement for my old big and dull paper cutter. Also, it has a safety clip to secure the blade and avoid accidents.
