If you were the type of person that likes to keep multiple strings of Twinkle lights up around your house but gets tired of plugging them in and out every time you use them, these remote control gadgets are perfect. I have twinkle lights and salt lamps all over my house and I have a couple of sets of these remote controls. In just a few seconds you can turn everything on or off. My favorite use is in my bedroom because I don't like bright lights on in the evening, so I have a couple of salt lamps in there and as I'm falling asleep I just grab the remote and click them off. Super easy. I highly recommend.

Note: READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!! One of the outlets did not work when it arrived. I was bummed, then i read the instructions. The outlets are PROGRAMMABLE and can be RESET. I performed the reset function, and the outlet started to work. Also, the reset/power button can turn off the outlet, then it won't work. Several reviewers claimed they ad a faulty outlet, but I really doubt it. ---- I have an aquaculture tank with a pump for extracting water to a location above the tank to prevent siphoning. I had a controller and remote that I salvaged from an old ceiling fan but it was a Rube Goldberg nightmare. Finally, I lost the remote!! It will turn up, but I decided to finally get an actual product. This product follows the Chinese paradigm of forcing you to buy twice as much as you want for just a little more than a single item would cost, but the overall price wasn't that bad, so I went for it. I kind of needed ONE outlet and ONE remote, and got 5 outlets and 2 remotes. But, they work so well, I used the other outlets for a living room light and a small space heater, and also plugged my LED TV into it. They work great!!! Why the TV? Because, it is a Samsung, and every few days, it gets into a condition where it doesn't work right or can't connect to the internet, and it has to be powered off. The power outlet is hidden so it won't detract from my living room appearance, and it is a real pain to get up and unplug the TV for 20 seconds, then plug it back in. This works perfectly. Just push the button, the TV dies. Wait 20 seconds, press the button, and the TV completely reboots and works every time. So, I am now using both remotes and all but one of the plugs and it is REALLY a great improvement in our lives!!!!

I bought these really for 2 specific case uses in my living room. I moved my old gaming PC to my living room and when I shut it down the RGB on the motherboard stays on for whatever reason, probably could go into the BIOS and do something, but why bother troubleshooting when I can just shut the power off with this? Second is to shut off the lights on the Govee RGB backlight strips on my TV rather than using the app, which might seem lazy but the app sucks and it honestly should've just came with a remote in the first place.Anyway I have found other uses for the remaining plugs. Such as putting one on my router to make turning it off and on again a whole lot easier when the internet isn't working or just being slow. It's also great for lamps that you might use as a primary light source in a room.I'm happy with with these thus far, and my only complaint is that I didn't get some sooner.

So far they are all Worked well. Very convenient to control outlets at a center location of the remote (instead of walking to each of the outlets around the house).

I like the individual buttons so I can control everything individually. Very easy setup and etc
