Review: High Class Low Price - This is the perfect watch for anyone that wants Tag Heuer, Breitling or Rolex type quality without the ridiculous price. Citizens makes a great watch that is comparable to any of the top class for style and workmanship. This is my third Citizens Atomic Watch and i'm hooked. AT means you never have to set the watch again! Never!. I own over ten citizen watches and this is the easiest to set with the video instructions on the citizens website. The highlight of this watch is the style and construction. It would be difficult to break other than intentional. There are a multitude of functions for fliers, however, you don't buy this watch for anything other than style. Citizen states that the watch is water resistant to 200M (over 600ft) and limits use to snorkeling. However, i scuba dive and have worn my others (Citizens) to depths of 150ft with no damage. I suspect this watch can do the same. Do not expect the functions to be useable. The digital windows are difficult to read even with the backlighting. When you buy this watch you will be pleasantly surprised with Citizens packaging which is in character of the watch, rugged! I highly recommend this watch for style and for extreme sports such as rock climbing, jet ski, scuba and others. It can take a licking...... Review: A Good Citizen...with the potential to be great - Purchased this in lieu of the Citizen AT8025-51E. It doesn't have the sapphire crystal and screw-down crown of the 8025, but does provide the same functionality and then some: timer; 1/100s chrono; two alarms; simultaneous display of two separate times; day-of-the-week display; compass -- provided you know how to use it; and auto DST adjust. The AT (Atomic Time) feature works great. I live in the South and have no problems receiving the signal (RX strength is High). I own several other Citizen watches and the perpetual calendar feature is a must have, but now with the AT, and the factory default set to auto, I don't have to worry about day light savings time (I F'N HATE DST!!!). A lot of people comment on the OEM band. I didn't bother with it...it's a rubber bracelet. Once unboxed, I immediately replaced it with a spare 23mm watch band as is used on my LUMINOX 8350 -- a very flexible and rugged PU watch band, which for me, averages about 2-3 years between replacements; LUMINOX gets the Best-Watchband-Ever award for this one. One of the primary reasons for not buying the AT8025 was the bracelet. I'm not a fan of bracelets (metal or otherwise) as they don't wear well and don't adjust to the situation (for wearing over wet-suits or other long sleeve protective clothing). Two features I don't like: 1) having to pull out the crown to the first position to change between modes (chrono, timer, time, alarms, etc.). My other Citizen's with similar functionality didn't require this, which tends to make one think twice before using it; 2) my other Citizen watches didn't have a back light, and this one does, which is a plus. The fact that the back light doesn't work in chrono or timer mode is a major fail. I could understand this if the dial had Tritium vials in the major markers and second hand, but the second hand has no luminescence (period), and any luminescence is via paint. If only Citizen would incorporate Tritium markers into their watches...then they would be the best watch ever! Several of my watches have Tritium markers and are still glowing strong 24/7/365 after 10+ years. It may cause cancer in the state of CA, but Tritium works great!

Premium Watch, IMO
Love this watch. Despite my baby-boomer eye-sight,, I love the details of this watch. A lot of complications that are fun to look at, although sometimes I need my 2.5 readers to see. For the most part, I have all the different functions and complications positions memorized. I use this watch a lot and use it to set or adjust all my other watches when needed. As mentioned the alarm is difficult to hear, but I would rarely use it for that reason. The sapphire crystal is nice. I did switch the band to a leather w/ deployment buckle, but may at some point switch to the silver band that came with it. It is nice, but a premium black leather band also works with this watch Other than 2 Breitlings I own, this is the next most pricey watch I have. I have fewer concerns wearing this watch more often. After a quick youtube tutorial and a hour playing with the watch, I was able to use the watch to sync, change secondary time zones, etc. I know a lot of feedback on digital brightness of the small window has been mentioned. 99% of the time I have no issue. In the Texas sunshine, most digital displays get washed out. Office and at home, I have no concerns seeing the digital output. Overall, this is a great watch. Even in a watch rotation of 20+ watches, I still manage to wear this Citizen a couple of times a week. At home, I will wear it on my right wrist, even with another watch on my left. Kind of geeky, but hey, why not.

Amazing watch!
I was nervous to make such a large purchase on Amazon, but it was exactly what I thought I was getting. Beautiful watch and definitely worth it! Never needs a battery, very durable, larger sized watch (but exactly what I wanted), and very bright and shiny.

Excellent watch with few flaws
I really like this watch. I really do. It has tons of functions and it looks amazing as well. I am a chef so I use timer and alarm the most. One of my favorite feature about this watch is that unlike many other digital watch (I. E. Lower end Casio) you do not push buttons set timer or alarm. You rotate the watch stem either clock or counter clock wise to set it. Not only it is faster to change but also it allows you to go back instead of pushing down button all the way around if you made a mistake while setting it. However, I still have some other issues with digital display. First it is very hard to read in low light condition. I understand that negative display looks better than positive display but at the same time it is so much harder to read it in a less than ideal lighting environment. Second, whenever analog hands cover over digital display it becomes much harder to use other features because you can't see it. I know that this is a common problem with many Ana-dig watches. But I already saw some solutions to this problems in other watches. For example some Casio watches automatically move hands away from their display whenever you are using chronograph function. I can't imagine it would be that hard to implement it but then I am not a watch designer. Third, you can't use back lighting while using timer or chronograph. The watch doesn't have dedicated backlight button. You can light the display by pressing upper right button but that button is also used for stopping timer or chronograph. Even though I am little disappointed about its functions I still really like the watch. Frankly, if you don't care about those little functions and just want cool looking pilot watch that is accurate, then I would highly recommend this watch. And yes you do have to cut the rubber bands before you can wear it but it is really easy to do( just be careful not to cut it too much at once. There is no going back) I give four stars out of five since this is an overall excellent watch despite few flaws. I suspect those flaws that I have mentioned in the review won't bother majority of the people who would buy it anyway.

Tons of features packed and incredible value for money
I have been eyeing this watch and was patient for the past three years. I think I got the best deal on the whole wide web at any given point through this watch's sale. This is an incredible timepiece that is must to be part of your watch collection. First things first it is it has an incredibly big watch face at 48mm. Something like the offering from Diesel or the Seiko Lords series. So if you have wrist size 6 or less you should pass on this one. Another over six works great. This bad boy catches people's attention right off the bat. If you appreciate the incredible engineering that has gone into designing and providing the functionality in this watch. It is probably the only watch on the market which provides so many features in the given price range. Atomic time keeping and eco drive means your watch is essentially going to be maintenance free and accurate with atomic radio sync taking place every day at 2am in the morning. World time is another feature along with the digital display coupled with analog to give it that extra edge in terms of functionality. If you still appreciate the aesthetics of a classic analog watch this will be an incredible addition to your collection. Lastly there is one major disadvantage that might be a deal breaker for a lot of people. The watch face houses a mineral crystal instead of sapphire glass that is the norm these days for any high end watches. So the watch face scratches easily. You can have citizen change your watch face for under $100 but yes this face will scratch easily. So you can't be carefree with this one. Absolute must to have go ahead get this. Best investment you'll make and the resale value on the watch is also incredible. So it'd be easy to offload the watch if you do get bored after a couple of years.

Really good watch
I love this watch, my everyday piece. I love the features and the way it looks and feels on my wrist. I get compliments all the time from people.

Go to Temu and get a watch (expensive doesn’t mean better)
Quality was below average, dial and digital display did not match. Instructions were too complicated. (Explains why this model was discontinued) Water resistance was not tested. Readability was confused because digital said one thing dial said another. Was not comfortable to wear because took one link off and it was too tight added one link and it was too loose. Way too expensive for a wrist watch that has many problems, I can get a better watch from Temu.
