Self Cleaning Litter Box 1, XX-Large, Grey

Always wanting to try one of these, I finally did and it was the best decision ever! I have 3 cats and scooping daily/litter usage was a hassle. This machine nearly eliminates the work And eliminates any litter box smell! Bonus- it connects to an app and you can monitor your cats weight and usage! Personally I enjoy needing to simply take out and replace the trash bag every few days (the box will alert you when its full!). This wonderful machine also significantly reduces the amount of litter you go through! Highly recommend if you are looking for a cost reducing, zero odor, simple hassle to have a clean litter box 24/7! It pays for itself! (Note: My cats weights are 5lbs, 11lbs and 17lbs. They all fit just fine with no issues!)

This litter box worked well for about 3 months. Now, every time it cleans, it empties the whole litter box into the waste sack, so we would keep coming back and see it empty and not know what had happened. It's been wasting a ton of litter. It also continuously disconnects from the Wi-Fi, or it just stops cleaning entirely. I wish these things had a 90-day return policy. It's a joke how quickly they go bad. This is a horrible waste of money. A traditional litter box would be less trouble.

OMG. I guess I'm a typical dad who hasn't really cared for cats...and then the cat my daughter brought home CHOSE me. My kitty's name is Phantom. She was the 4th female of the litter, so she had the temporary name of "F4" until she came to our house. I used to work on the aircraft model RF-4C. The F4 aircraft has the nickname of Phantom. So my daughter says to me, "This is F4," I asked, "Like the fighter jet? The F4 Phantom?" and she said, "Thanks for naming YOUR new kitty dad! Yes, this is Phantom!" So here we are two years later, and I do spoil her a bit. I never thought I'd ever pay money for a robotic kitty litter machine...until I saw this one. It was on sale which made me look twice. I came back later and finally made the purchase. We've been using it for several months now. Wait...a little more back story. Phantom is a kitty so naturally she is finicky. If her kitty litter box was messy, she used the floor and pooped next to the litter box...FOR TWO YEARS! I couldn't figure out how to make her use the litter box every time. I had a litter box downstairs and one upstairs. She pooped in them sometimes, but more on the floor. I threatened to get rid of her buy my wife made me promise I wouldn't, so I was ready to try the robotic litter box. She uses it almost exclusively. She barely uses the kitty litter box downstairs. SHE DOESN'T POOP ON THE FLOOR ANY LONGER!!!! It sits in my office and I don't smell kitty litter. It's quiet. Of course, when it starts moving she has to come watch it. My wife changes the bags. I get notices on my phone that my kitty is pooping...and I show my friends. The price caught my eye. I took the chance. It's been better than I could have imagined. I vacuum around it once in a while, but it's nice and sturdy, so I don't have to mess with it. It has improved my relationship with my kitty. :)

Overall, the litter box works great. It has a de-ionizing fan filter that is supposed to work automatically after each cleaning, but it doesn’t unless you enable it in the app which I didn’t find until I scrolled way down in the app past the history and scrolled more when I very literally didn’t think I could scroll more on a gray screen to find the automatic setting. The litter and smell around the area are much better after switching to this box. It provides me with most of the notifications I need through the app, and they are accurate. It works right out of the box after the self-check. The default setting is to clean after 3 minutes with a 15-minute delay between cleaning. I highly recommend raising that to at least 30 minutes each to let the litter clump much longer so that when the litter box turns over, there won’t be any moist litter or poop sticking to the walls of the litter box. I just got the product; so far, the pros outweigh the cons since cleaning litter is the only chore I dislike doing for my cats. I'll create an update when I've used it for much longer. For now, I say it's a must-have if you have more than one cat and little care for cleaning poops.

I have had this for just over a month and I love it! I wish I had bought one years ago. Be aware though, that cleaning the barrel is a bit of work. I'm not complaining at all. It's worth it! Some things to know, are, the instructions say to release the "buckle" but there is no "buckle" in the product diagram. I have attached a picture of it. It lifts up from the right side and you can then pull the barrel out. Be sure to click the buckle firmly back in place when you put the barrel back on the base. Also, the barrel can't really be cleaned in the house. I took it outside to use the hose. It is supposed to be thoroughly dry before putting it back on the base. I used my blow dryer to reach all the places inside the barrel and then I used disinfectant wipes. It is a little weighty carrying it with litter in it. It doesn't take long to clean! You just need to have a plan. Finally, it should be cleaned once a month. The inside of the barrel, where the litter gets filtered and also where it gets dumped into the bag, gets nasty.

Despite the description saying it has unlimited support, there is no phone number, email address or any other way to contact them. Questions asked here go unanswered. The manual is a joke. Very, very poor and appears to be for a different version of the software. The problem I have is intermittent lockups of the controls, requiring a power cycle to clear, and after it shows the bag is full you have to power cycle it again to clear the alert. I bought this on the recommendation of a friend, but he said he had the same problems and just kept returning them until he got one that worked.
