Simple, and Effective.
I bought this for time blocking to aid my struggles with time management from ADHD. It does the job! It is also pretty to look at and is a great size where it is portable, but not flimsy, and not so big an heavy that it doesnt fit on your desk. I wish they had more time options! if I had it my way I would buy a 5 minute, a 15 minute, a 30 minute, and a 60 minute!

Nice Hourglass, Well Made!
The glass is clear and they use real hardwood top and bottom. Its about 2-3" round and 5-6 inches tall. Its sharp looking and works great! Its simple to use too.

Great product
I love this sand timer, it was just what I wanted. The size is great for my needs, and it was very accurate. I did not time it exactly but as close as I could. My only issue with this is that this shipment came separately from others I ordered and the packaging wasn’t great. Thankfully it arrived in good shape and not broken, but there was potential for breaking, due to the packaging, however the timer itself is well made and sturdy. This one came in a flimsy, thin paper type box, in a padded mailing envelope. I also ordered two others, plus another set, and they came packaged together with plenty of of padding. Based on the quality of the products themselves, I would give 5 stars and will be ordering others

Excellent small hourglass
I wanted a 25 minute hourglass for meditation and pomodoro. I somehow prefer it to a timer because it's more analog. This one is really excellent -- it's smaller than other 25 minute hourglasses, is affordable, and I timed it at 25:03, so it's accurate too. My only totally minor complaint is I wish it didn't say "25" on both sides in huge letters, but I can just put stickers over both ends to customize it.

Perfect
It’s actually about 31 minutes which is great! I use this to time my “no screen time” session and it’s working perfectly

Quality decoration or functional timekeeping
This is a handsome item to keep as decoration, but it's also accurate in terms of time. It's real glass and wood and is a nice size. Really nice looking piece that could have come from Crate & Barrel or similar. LOVE IT.

Wobbles but doesn't fall down.
The time is a great size for my desktop. It can be in front of me and a) does not block my monitors and b) is not so huge that it is a distraction. The looks and materials are excellent. I got the model with a brown sand and light wood ends. It is very attractive. The glass is thick and seems durable. I feel that I will not accidentally break it. The shape and weight of the glass give it a feel of great value for the money. One downside it that the wooden ends are not flat. Both sides wobble on a flat surface. One side is very noticeable and kind of irritating. Is it worth me filing a for a return and making a trip to a drop-off point to send it back? Not really. I will sand down the ends myself as this is easier for me.I have not tested for accuracy as I am not concerned about accuracy.

Beautiful sparkle sand, testing reveals the wobble end is about a second slower.
The media could not be loaded. Like sand in the minute glass, so are the fractions of our 5 minute minutes. (heteronyms)As a tech support person, I can guess the potential that there is a time difference in which way the sand is falling, between the two different ways. And so I tested. One was is the grain running upper left to lower right through the 5 on one end. (UL-LR), the other is with the wood grain running from upper right to lower left through the 5 on the other end. (UR-LL) And my iPhone stop watch was relied on for results.UR-LL = 5:03.07, 5:02.74, 5:01.29 = 3:02.36 average. (There is minor wobble sitting on this end. perhaps slowing the flow. Video showing at release.)UL-LR = 5:01.31, 5:01.85, 4:59.58! = 301.04 average.Clearly if one end wobbles, and you want that kind of accuracy, you should consider an exchange. Having just measured 6, 3 each way, there was only one end, that wobbled, and it was slightly longer to run out the sand, by a second. As for appearance:1. The sand is apparently the same through all the time lengths offered here. (1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 25, 30 & 60 minutes.) And that sand does… “sparkle plenty”. (Sunday comic reference.) I tried to catch that with a close up photo. The top and bottom are a universally light color. By taking photos in a window, the part in the shade is made to look darker, and it isn’t.2. The “5” is etched in, and is 3/4” tall.3. This has no vertical support columns, commonly found in hour glasses, which could possibly save the hourglass from breaking in some situations. And some think has that nice look of yore. And this wood could have been darker. Therefore it’s the accuracy, and nothing but the accuracy. And a 5 star review. That’s the way it is.ChillKat 5 minute sand timer Vine review:B0DZ4XY86LIf you are looking for a colored sand for children, with the three columns, do a search for this ASIN on Amazon:B0DSPV5QFT(I just did that review also.
