Super Moss 21707 Reindeer Moss Preserved, Chartreuse, 4-Ounce

I use this product around potted plants to make the look great in the decorative containers. Love the bright green contrast against the living plant.

I was hoping to match my existing moss (I purchased at Smith and Hawkens 10 years ago!) Unfortunately the shades of green between the new and old are quite different. My original moss is a very bright chartreuse. I would call this moss in this bag a lime green (not as yellow and bright) . I mixed the two together around the base of an artificial tree. It looks fine but would have preferred the same moss colors to match.

Looks realistic! Very satisfied. The only small thing is that it has a bit of a toxic smell that doesn't seem to be going away any time soon.

I used this to cover the dirt in two indoor plants (an amaryllis and paperwhites). The color was alright, a little unnaturally florescent. Also, the moss was very stiff and I had to get it wet to form it around the plant. The color held into the water and temporarily dyed my fingers green.
