I own several products from OWC. This drive is really convenient because of its small size and high storage capacity. No difficulty hooking it up and getting it to work immediately. Also it provides very high transfer speed.

Fantastic. This was highly recommended for Mac back ups and Time Machine. My previous Crucial SSD was OK but every few months it would hang and had to reformat it. SO after a while I just gave up. I have used this OWC now for about two months on a Mac PowerBook (M4 Pro chip) for Time Machine backups. It has been humming along doing its job- no reformatting, crashing, or anything. I also like the compact size (1.5"x2.75:x0.375") along with the nice cable. I have checked the read/write speeds and though I could not get 1000 MB/s I came extremely close to it. So very satisfied with the speed. It would have been nice if the case design looked different, aesthetically. The aluminum look is very industrial and not jazzy. Still, I recommend it for Mac users.
