The first sign of a problem was that the only contents of the box other than sections of the tubular frame, was a plastic packet containing only three nuts and bolts. Yet holes were pre-drilled for at least six. Having assembled it with three fastenings it was quite flimsy and floppy and clear that six bolts were needed. I had some similar nuts and bolts in the garage so proceeded to reinforce. One of the holes was misaligned with those in the tube insert. After much persuasion though, it did go but damaged the thread. Once I had it securely together, I gave it a test. My bin was full of normal domestic Waste but had not been compacted. Under just enough pressure to press the bags down, the tubes of the handle started to bend and felt as though further pressure would cause a buckling. I think these need to be thicker and a wider diameter.

Not worth it
Bent after one use trying to compact some cardboard and paper. Definitely not heavy duty in anyway, and doubt it will last more than a month of use. A bit of a pain to assemble as the not tools provided, and between the paint applied and poor measurements, most pieces were either incredibly tight fitting or very loose, doesn't really stand up on its own, but that could be because one arm bent on the first use.The compactor part is very short and barely goes a 1/4 of the way into my 60L bin and the actually arms are pretty short so not giving much leverage.Easier and safer then trying to force things down with your own limbs, but not much more effective and not worth the money.

Rubbish
Absolutely useless, not fit for purpose.Holes didn't even line up when putting together, had to be reamed out in order to assemble. Once assembled the item only pushed the bin contents down about 6 inches, not enough to fit a significant amount of extra contents in. The item also bent whilst using. I have thrown it away. Save your money.

Looks great on the internet
It's very wobbly and doesn't seem too strong also it's very awkward to use and not very well made. Putting it together the holes don't line up for the bolts and the plastic washers are less than useless

Not a very good product I've had to add spacers and bolts and washers as well to make it work. Poorly made
