Excellent for stacking into

These fit so well I was really pleasantly surprised, I thought for sure half the blocks the holes would be misshapen but the 1/4" blocks fit in just right every time. Makes it way easier to scale up starts when using the 1/4" blocks and then upgrading to the 2" blocks for bigger plants like tomatoes and squash without having to have a bunch of 2" blocks sitting around for weeks.

Just what we needed to 'pot up' the small soil blocks into the 2" blocks. Works perfectly!

Liked the speed which I could plant my seeds and not have to buy seed starter cups. It will pay for itself in the short run.

I was shipped a new design, not like the inserts that screw in. The new inserts snap in just like the seed pins. If they hold up with use this will be a much better design. The old style were tricky and time consuming to screw in. I wish they would have updated the picture though, because I bought another soil blocker just so that I wouldn't have to switch between the square inserts and the seed pins.

To make sure the plastic insert was pliable I put these in hot tap water before inserting them into the soil block maker. They slipped right in without a problem. I am happy with the results. My micro soil blocks fit perfectly into this.

Prefect!! Made some 2” soil blocks after changing out the divet for the square. My celery micro squares popped right in.
