I have used the tray a couple of times and like the item. The food item does not defrost as fast as advertised but does defrost quicker than putting your frozen item in water to defrost.

This works as long as the frozen material is in contact with it. If you have an uneven piece to thaw, it doesn’t work very well. Only thaws what is touching it. Maybe I missed that in the description.

Although I was skeptical when I bought the defrosting tray, I wanted to give it a shot. We only used it once so far, but the results were stunning. We had a 3" steak that was frozen solid. Last week, we had an identical piece of steak, and after leaving it out all day, the middle of the steak was still frozen when we went to cook it. This week, after using the defrosting tray, the meat was completely defrosted after only 3 hours. We're very pleased, and look forward to using it for all our defrosting.

I am very pleased with it. Cuts the defrost time in half.I did have the corners work loose but I superglued them on and they don't come off now.I would highly recommend this product.

Blew my mind at how well it actually works.I didn't believe it until I bought it and saw it for myself.Got the biggest tray, and definitely recommend it, as it still isn't huge, but it is adequate.

Best kitchen investment EVER! No more feeling regret because I forgot to take the meat out earlier in the day. Had a pound of frozen ground beef completely defrosted in an hour.

So I’ve put an entire pot roast on it and has thawed it out after 3hrs. I’ve also used individual chicken breasts and it thaws them in about an hour or so. Super easy to clean!!

I think it's not much different from regular defrosting in room temp.If you would like to get this to expect some serious time saving on defrosting, you may not be able to get that outcome.
