I bought this as a replacement for a big old General Electric unit that was about 12 years old and finally packed up working. I was attracted to the cost and took a punt. First I was surprised at the compact size and manoeuvrability which was perfect for my small kitchen. The test was how it would perform and it didn’t disappoint. Lots of functionality giving a variety of settings allows for personalised control. Easy filter removal for cleaning which only leaves my only criticism, that being the water tank is a little difficult to remove owing to my arthritic hands. Slight indents would help. For the price this is a cracking little unit and cheaper to run being a compressor type rather then a desiccant type. I have two Meaco DD8L Juniors around the house but I will replace with these when the time comes. Bonus feature is that it will dry washing if placed in an enclosed space with washing on an airer. If you have Economy 7 rate buy a timer to switch the unit on during the night to dry washing on the cheap rate!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this dehumidifier recently and have been incredibly pleased with it performance. It had significantly improved the humidity levels indoors, which were causing skin allergies. The operation is impressively quiet, barely noticeable during the night when I use sleep mode in my bedroom, it doesn’t disrupt my sleep at all. The clear display allows me to easily see the current mode, and 1.6L water tank is convenient to refill . When it’s full, it automatically stops running, so I never have to worry about spills. Plus, it comes with a drainage hose for easy connection to a household pipe for continuous drainage. The built in wheels to make it easy to move around, and I appreciate the cable tidy on the back for neat storage.Overall , I highly recommend this dehumidifier for it’s effective performance, quiet operation, and user friendly features. It’s been a great addition to my home.

Works wonderfully. Energy efficient, great value for money, easy to manoeuvre and empty water collection tank.

Handy to move from room to room, did wonders within the first few hours on in my kitchen. Good functions such as setting humidity levels and a heating function for drying clothes. Quiet enough on high, can't hear anything behind a closed door.

Compact good design fairly quiet but can be heard humming away seems to be ok at mo easy to work time will tell 👍

Amazing compact piece of kit that does the job effectively. Collection drawer is 1.5L but I thought it was 12LA slow leak was identifed from the flat above me, as walls had a very high moister reading and bubbled paint, that has now been fixed so I’m drying out the bathroom. It collected 500 ml on first night. Remember to plug the draining overflow in if you want the water collected in the drawer. On wheeled too so easily moved around

Bought this while it was on offer to replace an aging unit I had. I bought this primarily to dry clothes while my washing machine is on (I have a washer/drier so can only do one load at a time) and to use in my bathroom to keep damp under control as it doesn't have a window.My first impression is that on the low setting, it's very quiet, it doesn't make any more noise than a fridge does. It is still very effective on this setting, completely filling it's built in tank in less than 8 hours. It is absolutely unbelievable how much moisture there is in the air (especially the bathroom) and how well this machine works for it's relative size. The air definitely "feels" better and it also appears warmer in the space it's being used. The only negative I have about it, is it's tank size which will need emptying very frequently if used in a very damp environment.All in all, a very good purchase and would definitely recommend!

The unit came well packed, and has removed lots of moisture from my home. All the controls are well positioned and understandable. great value.
