Replacement battery for JBL Charge 2+
After reading reviews of different replacement batteries, I took the old one out of the speaker to make sure I ordered one with the correct polarity of the wiring on the plug, as there are apparently two different versions available for the Charge 2+. YouTube videos were very helpful, and my speaker was easier to get at and remove the battery than the video indicated, (apparently due to a design change). The battery was delivered in two days, correct polarity on the wiring, and I installed it rather easily. I've only had the battery a few days, but it charged fully and I am using it on the first charge. Hopefully the charge will last at least 10 hrs as the original did. Right now, it's working great - like new. The old (original) battery had declined to the point that even when plugged into the electrical outlet, the speaker would no longer work for more than a few minutes, and upon removal, the old battery was rather swollen as well. Glad to have my great sounding Charge 2+ working properly again. Just be sure to order the correct battery with the correct wiring polarity that matches the plug in your original battery.

JBL CHARGE 2+ DOESNT WORK W/O MOD
I was careless thought it direct fit and work for charge 2+. Installed it and charge 1 day and it still at 1 dot, and speaker still unable to have sound. I was about to throw speaker away then found the answer on internet, swap the pair of black and red wires. The speaker now charge and sound, but it take whole night to charge from 4 dots to full. The picture I posted is after 2nd time I take apart to compair the new and old battery.

Worked Great in JBL 2+
Watched youtube to see how to change and get the right battery. Glad I did. I have a 2 year old JBL2+ and it was much easier to change than the videos. Only had to remove grill on back, one with out JBL badge. Battery was in black plastic box, removed screws on each end of battery box. Took some prying to remove the box, old battery had swollen and was obviously bad. Unplugged, removed box cover and replaced with the new one. Only had 30% charge so charged overnight. Working Great.

Make sure you have the correct year, polarity, and connector
Does not fit JBL Charge 3 2016. I should have paid more attention to my year of manufacture. The 2015 version of this battery (as pictured) has the correct polarity I was looking for but the connector is physically smaller. The CS-JML330SL verison of this battery has the correct larger connector and proper wire polarity to fit my 2016 JBL Charge 3

It works, but...
you may need to swap the red and black wires. Not a job for you if you aren't dexterous, but there are YouTube videos on how to do it. I gave 4 stars not 5 because the description fails to tell the customer that they may need to swap wires.
