PROS:- Quality material for a really good price.- Color (I got red) is bright and in washing it, it did not bleed into other colors.- Shields you well from the cold including the wind.- I'm 5'5" and the size small jacket drapes just about an inch pass my butt cheeks. Deceptively roomy. I can overlay this jacket on top of another very thick jacket and still feels normal. That's how roomy it is.- Hood is detachable which is good on days that don't rain or you don't want a hood.- It does bead off rain. As for the duration, I did not test.CONS:- Can easily misplace the hood because no component to hold it if you take it off.

I ordered this raincoat for our son for biking to school on rainy days, and was quite impressed with the quality. The exterior fabric is heavyweight, attractive and durable. It's water and windproof, and provides great coverage. It also has a lightweight fleece lining and back vents that provide some warmth and breathability. Stitching is good, and the three pickets are a big bonus. For the price, it's an excellent buy - I'm thinking of getting one for myself!Sizing seem on-spot. We ordered a small for our thin 5"7" son and it fits him perfectly with sufficient room for a sweatshirt or light jacket underneath. I'm 5'8" and 150#, and it fits me well too, though a little more snugly. The medium would likely be a perfect fit for me, and it is what I would normally wear.

I bought this jacket for a trip to the north coast of Ireland where it rains for a few minutes every hour and is cool even in August, after I read another review that said it was perfect for Ireland. This jacket is the best. Really rainproof, really lightweight, really folds up compactly, breathes well and it worked wonderfully for the vacation. Now, I've been wearing for all sorts of uses, even for running and it doesn't get too hot nor is it too crinkly, which drives me crazy when running. A great buy--a great jacket.

Claimed to be GoreTex, but it is NOT. It is another synthetic breathable fabric that looks like it will serve my needs. It was inexpensive and appears to be well constructed. However, If I had known what the real fabric was, I would have kept looking. Their product information has been changed and no longer claims to be GORETEX. If this product is breathable, it sure fooled me (as did their false claim) and I would definitely NOT recommend this item.

I just received the jacket by mail. It has a pretty cheap zipper which will break and the shoulders and waist are to small. It also comes from China so don’t expect it soon. But it looks nice. I’m 6’ tall, 250lbs. The jacket I bought is an xtra large. I don’t know about rain because it’s too small and it will rip at the shoulders if I move or bend over.

Coat is the perfect weight and the quality is great. I did see one review about the Velcro on the hood being the same on both sides and therefore unusable. I looked and sure enough it is. In looking further, however, I discovered that there is slit on both side of the hood that the Velcro piece fits into. The attaching side of the Velcro is located inside the slit. This just allows for a nice clean look when the hood is attached. All in all I am certain this will be the perfect thing I will need for my upcoming Alaskan cruise.

I like how it looks but some parts are really low quality and also was alot smaller than anticipated. Have only used twice so far and already broke one of the straps at the end of the sleeve.

Just received this jacket in the mail, I was little hesitant after reading some of the other reviews. I have to say I am absolutely impressed with the level of quality and features this jacket has for the price!! It fits fine, seems very rugged. Appears as though it will thrive in the winter months which was my intended purpose for it being that I plan to do some mountaineering this winter. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend to friends and family!!
