Very sturdy and cute! High quality

Super cute and practical.

Unfortunately, the item arrived with multiple quality issues that made it unusable. Several wooden panels had chips, cracks, and rough edges straight out of the box, and many of the surfaces showed visible dents and scratches. During assembly, it became clear that the pre-drilled holes and panels did not line up correctly. Even when following the instructions exactly, the boards did not sit flush, leaving uneven gaps and unstable joints. Considering I paid almost $100 for this bookshelf, the workmanship and finish were far below expectations. The photos reflect the condition of the product as received—misaligned pieces, damaged corners, and poorly finished edges. For a children’s bookshelf, I expected sturdier construction and better quality control. Based on the defects and assembly problems, I could not safely or properly use the item and would not recommend it.

In the end it was a great shelf, but be prepared it’s kind of a pain to put together.

This is sturdy and stable. Easy to assemble(my husband and I did it in under 20 minutes). Space in between is a bit more narrow so books will fall forward sometimes since it can’t lean back too much, especially if you’re putting in more than one book overlapping. The wood is also not sealed so there are tiny little shavings that might get a splinter if you’re rough with it. Upon first seeing the wood I was hesitant. But once assembled, it doesn’t seem to be too much a problem since you’re not really running your hands across the wood much. It was still the best option I found for the price, size and being scalloped.

Adorable shelf and it holds lots of books for my granddaughter. My daughter changes the books with the holidays so it's a focal Point. We painted it apple green and get SO many compliments!

This was easy to assemble and it is quality. This book shelf is adorable and easy to reach for your little one to grab a book from.

This 4 tier wooden bookshelf is perfect for organizing kids books! The assembly did take some elbow grease but was straightforward, and instructions were simple and easy to follow. As mentioned in the instructions, it's important to make sure you don't completely tighten all of the screws until the very end. It does come with the tools needed to put it together, but if you have your own screwdriver then I definitely suggest using it. The wood is sanded smooth, there are no rough spots or splinters and I like that the corners are rounded. It's quite heavy once assembled and though I'm not worried about it tipping, it does come with anchors to secure it to the wall for extra safety. The shelves have space to fit multiple books in front of each other (depending on book thickness). It's been a great way to display our books (we do a book rotation) and I find that the kids are asking to read them more often now that they can see the covers instead of just the spines. Really great quality and highly recommend this for little book lovers!

This tiered shelf is made of real pine so it is very sturdy and a bit heavy. It was fairly easy to put together but there are a few tricks that it would have been nice to know in the instructions, like making sure that the side panels have the larger screw holes on the outside so the screws lay flat inside the wood and don't stick out. I only knew to watch for that because I read another review that said it. Other than that, it was easy to assemble and took one person about 45 minutes but it would be much easier with an extra set of hands. It comes with an Allen wrench which is the only tool needed. Once it was together, I was impressed by how solid and sturdy it is. It says that it hold up to 80 pounds so it will have no problem being filled with books. I think it looks quite nice and will blend in to most any decor. It is designed for children's books but I think it could be transitioned from a toddler to an older child or even a teen. Now that I think about it my doctors office has a similar shelf for magazines so I think there are lots of uses for it if you think outside the box. Mine will be used for books, hopefully for many years to come!

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the wood used in this product. It was 3/4" plywood with all edges sanded smooth, with a semi-gloss finish on it.

GORGEOUS scalloped edge solid unfinished wood recessed shelves! I was so excited for these are there are two little girls in my life who are at different levels and I got two different sizes and this little one is going to be perfect for the little one's books. What I love is they did not paint this so you can decide if you want to stain or paint it yourself and for someone like me who loves that kind of stuff, it is SUCH a bonus. The finish is professional and smooth, so I don't need to sand anything myself and now I can pick out a stain or paint and then gift these to them when they're ready. Really happy with these shelves and there is enough room for a few layers of books for when they get older too, or even dolls and toys! Lots of uses as they grow up and I can't get over that scalloped edge, so pretty.
