Amazing for the price point
This is just a first impression. I have a LOT of knives... Some $400, some $50... I usually stay away from front flippers because they usually don't work well for me. I have 2 other kizer knives in 154cm, and those 2 knives are my favorites outside of the powdered steel metallurgy knives I own, and might still be my favorites because they are easier to sharpen. I bought this knife only because it had a thumb hole for deployment, thinking that would be pretty functional for me, which it is, but, I actually find the front flipper incredibly easy to use on this knife. I've had other front flippers I could work well enough, but I've never had a front flipper that I actually prefer the front flipper over another way of deployment. Tge front flipper works amazingly well, and I actually have to try really hard to get it to fail to deploy all the way. It's been a long time since I've been this impressed with a knife

GREAT edc knife!!
First (and definitely not the last) Kizer I’ve bought. She a thicc girl, and I love it. Action is buttery smooth. I mean, pretty much Benchmade level action. Factory edge is pretty amazing. No burs or flat spots. Materials are great. You can tell it was built well. The thing opens very smooth and quick. It is a bit on the heavy side, which is exactly what I like in an EDC. The box is packed with all kinds of cool shit, too. I could not be happier. If you’re on the fence, buy it. You won’t regret it.

Amazing knife
You can spend hundreds of dollars and get really nice, great functioning, super quality knives. Knives under $75 are numerous, but there are few that punch well above their class, THIS IS ONE OF THOSE KNIVES! The majority of my collection is Kizer and Kansept knives, I really like their designs, quality, and price! When this knife came out, I passed it over many-many times. To me, it just looked like an average design, kinda boxy, with nothing that makes it stand out in design. Then you get it in your hand, and boy, you realize the quality, ergonomics, and size are absolutely stellar! This knife is as good as it gets in this price range, and honestly in any price range if you consider how people use knives! Eventually I will buy the premium version as well!

Aesthetic appeal
Very smooth action, sharp blade. Only complaint is inlay in handle looks cheap. Ordered black with brown inlay, but inlay is more green than brown. Would be better without inlay and solid handle.

Decent knife for the price
I bought this knife as a gift for my husband who collects knives and he really liked this one. He has bigger hands and it fit nicely in his. Nice every day carry size. Overall a decent knife for the price.

I had to change what I said about this knife, it opens two different ways one handed
I like the looks and feel of the knife. It seems solid and well built, and balanced. But it’s really made to open with two hands. That video shows someone opening with a swing of their thumb, well I don’t believe it. You can open it with hole in the blade, but it’s awkward and slow. Nothing like a spiderco, that’s easy to flip open. You can’t sling it open either, like you can with a Benchmade. They need to ask Emerson to let them put that sling opener on there blades. This really is just a common manual opening knife. I want to update my review. It can be opened one handed. I just went about it wrong. It doesn’t flip open like other flippers, you have to hold it different. Rotate it so you can barely open it with your thumb, then flip it open with your wrist, it actually works great that way, so I am now going to change my rating to a 5 star. I really enjoy opening the way they designed it now. I have to change what I said about this knife . After playing with knife I found 2 different ways to open this knife one handed. I apologize to kizer. If you are considering buying this knife, get the 154 cm steel. I looked at some charts on steel and nitro v doesn’t have very good edge retention. But 154cm steel will keep a edge longer with a toothy edge, 350 to 550 grit and you need to use a diamond or cbn stone. You can’t get a toothy edge using a whetstone, because a whetstone will give you a slick finish not toothy finish with bite.
