This is an attractive charging dock that allows me to charge while reading. I also use it to charge my phone. That was an unexpected bonus.Mostly, that's a good thing. The downside is that it charges slowly. If you really need your phone charged quickly, as in the ordinary way, you're going to need to plug it in.In the case of my Kindle, which is the 2024 version of the Paperwhite, I can tolerate a slower charge thanks to how ridiculously long the Paperwhite holds a charge. I can get three percent charged now, 3% tomorrow, maybe leave it there overnight, and it all adds up.Anthony Trendl

I love this kind of Charger for my Kindle. I hated having it charging like my cell phone. I wish I could find a charger like this for that too. This thing works great, is easy to operate, you just put the kindle standing face up on the surface facing you. Plug in and within 3 hours my kindle that was almost on 14% charge ended up with 100% charge. The only thing I did notice is that it stays the same color and blinks while its charging. It doesn’t turn another color when it’s done, nor does it stop blinking when done charging. It doesn’t turn another stop flashing when you remove it though. BTW FYI you do have to remove your kindle from it’s holder if you have one like mine. Not that its a big deal, it slides in and out quite easily.

I didn’t realize the new kindle chargers changed!!! Because before with my old kindle the charger was that mini usb or something and I could never find it. This makes it so easy to just set it down no plugging in. I didn’t realize tho but it could be used as a reading stand!!!! So I am going to probably locate it closer to my bed. Good quality it does not feel flimsy.

Charges quickly, and I don’t have to worry about the cords

This works great for my new Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition. It’s so easy to use. It charged it very quickly and was easy to setup. I have only two issues with it. First is the plugin is quite large and so it was not easy to find an outlet free for it. The second is that it has a bright white light that it emits while the kindle is charging. It seems solidly built and like it will last for a long time. I think it was worth the money I spent on it.
