Quality batteries at a great price

We have 3 analog clocks in our home and these are the only batteries we use for all of them. We used to use regular AA batteries but they didn't work as well as these.They last a decent amount of time and are a good value for the money compared to other options out there.There is a whole thing about clocks using these type of batteries instead of regular AA batteries so if you aren't using them for your analog clocks, look into it.

These carbon zinc batteries are ideal for low current draw items (e.g., clocks) which is why I specifically look for carbon zinc batteries like these. The product listing for these says they’re guaranteed best before 2019 or longer which is a bit scary since that’s now 6 years past. Given that, first thing I checked upon receiving them is the expiration date: 2028. (Whew!). They’re not the freshest batteries (thus knocking 1 star), but they’ll work for our purposes. YMMV as you might actually receive something that expired in 2019 or 2020 and you’d be receiving items exactly as described.

A clock I received as a gift was purchased from Amazon. It required carbon zinc batteries.. I went to Batteries and Bulbs to purchase more and was told that they were outdated technology and just use AA's. This information was incorrect. I found the batteries on Amazon and promptly ordered them. There is a difference, but I don't know what it is. The clock is beautiful, but flimsy and the hands fall off periodically. I just like the way it looks...and it wasn't cheap. I will continue to use the cz batteries as they last a decent amount of time and not expensive.
