The Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy Paperback – 1 Sept. 1991

I have bought other armoatherapy books in the past, but this book is definitely a complete guide on essential oils and aromatherapy. It has a list of essential oils and their uses and very importantly it advises which oils should be used by whom. There are recipes for different ailments. If you love natural remedies then this book should be on your book case/kindle.

This is an excellent book!!!It has such a wealth of information for everything imaginable and gives you quick, easy to understand and precise information. A must for all interested in aromatherapy and a more holistic life in general. Really, really worth the money you spend, which is a lifetime investment. Can't expect more from a book! Bravo to Valerie Ann Worwood

This is my bible of essential oils, I have recommended this book to so many people. It is fantastic and fool proof when it comes to finding a blend and using it !!

Good book. Simplifies aromatherapy for the layman user.

Bought this book some months ago. It has practically been in my hands ever since. Great for constant reference. Have tried several recipes for curing everyday medical problems, and washing up is a treat with citrus and lavender scented kitchen, plates, etc. Love quick reference to carrier oils and essential oils for skin care.

I initially thought this book was just ok glancing at it but last night I read for an hour, the more I read the more I found the book so useful & Knowledgeable. My new favourite aromatherapy Bible. Learnt so much.

I love Valerie Worwood, but I already have a copy of the 'Fragrant Pharmacy' so obviously wouldn't have purchased this had I known it was just an earlier edition with a different name. If you don't have either book and want to choose between them, 'The Complete Book' version is the larger size book with larger print but each page is set out in two columns. I prefer the layout and cover design to 'The Fragrant Pharmacy.' Nicer title too.

I only wanted a book with basic details of the oils. This is a good book but far too detailed for what I wanted.
