I've been looking for a bore sight tool for quite some time now. The individual caliber related LED shaped bullets / miniature LED bore sights are cheaply / poorly made and are NOT accurate. This bore sight worked on my .22 LR, .380, 9mm, .40, .45, 7.62 and up to 12 gauge. Would HIGHLY recommend this for handguns (revolver & semi-auto) rifles and shotguns. It's made very well, comes with 2 batteries, has 32 caliber adapters, is easy to use, has a conversion caliber to insert (.17 up to 12 gauge) chart and is VERY accurate when determining and adjusting front & rear sights.

The laser is bright - very bright. The adapters are all adjustable, with a screw, for a precise fit, and the stem is long enough to reach past the flash hider of a PS-90. The small instructions pamphlet tells you the size range for each adapter.It feels solidly built, and I love the case, making it easy to keep track of all the parts.

The bore sighter comes with 32 different adapters, making it highly versatile. I used it to sight in my .22LR Ruger 10/22, Glock 19 (9mm), and Colt .45 ACP. The adapters fit securely in the barrel as long as you adjust the screw properly to ensure a snug fit.The laser is impressively bright, making it easy to align your sights. I started at 15 yards and then moved my target to 25 yards. The accuracy was outstanding—it was almost dead-on, 3 shots with the point of impact only about half an inch off the bullseye. I’m very satisfied with the results.I recommended this product to a shooting buddy, and he used it to sight his rifle. He was equally impressed by how close it was to the target right out of the box. I waited to do my review until I had a chance to get to the range, so here it is. There’s a lot to like about this bore sighting kit. First, item arrived fast and all pieces were there. Second, very easy to use. You will have some trial and error to find the proper piece for the caliber you are using. But it is simple. Once you find the correct size (#8 for .308 and .30-06), simply screw it lightly on the end of the bore sight and when sliding into the barrel, make sure the extension piece (included) has a tight fit on the end, tighten the sight to expand the adapter to make a firm snug fit. Just turn the whole sight, the adapter will expand. I found if I didn't tighten enough, I got variations in where the laser pointed. Once tight it was consistent. Be careful not to over tighten. Loosen to remove the sight. Third. The green laser was very bright, I could see it on the target at 100 yards on a sunny day. Fourth, it gets you close, you still will have some zeroing in to do but I can honestly say it saved me time and ammo. Mine was a few inches off at 100 yards but I was able to adjust. The pic is my target with my .308. The biggest question, would I buy again? And the answer is yes.

Ive tried MANY other ammo(in breach shell casing) type boresights, and compared to THIS "External" boresighter, they were ALL a waste of time and money! This boresight has a VERY-VERY powerful class III green lazer that makes sighting in anything you can shoot down range an easy task. Saved me a TON of ammo, and an afternoon of frustration attempting to get those"in battery"/chambered ammo type boresighters to work correctly. Comes with a nice hard case, that keeps all the bore sizes where they should be, for fast and easy swap outs to the calibur needed. Buy with confidence on this one folks....
