This works exactly as described and seems to be decently built. It read all my sensors and was able to help me troubleshoot an issue I was having. There is one caveat, for me at least. It wasn't quite fast enough for the software I was using to program keys and do other tasks. I ended up returning it and getting the recommended one and had no issues after that. I was using forscan and it just didn't like the adapter. So while this may work for a lot of people it does have limitations.

Worked exactly as needed with FORScan for my 2023 F150. Much cheaper alternative.

I was able to program my 2017 F150 Platinum using FORscan with this cable. You need to make sure and get the driver for the cable, which is listed on the sheet that comes with the cable. People who are saying this cable wasn't recognized are probably not installing the driver. I got the device not recognized error, until I went back and read the instructions that came with the cable. As soon as I followed the instructions, I was able to connect and get rid of auto start, the seatbelt and door chimes, as well as do Lincoln fold mirrors and display the temperatures on my gauge cluster. Definitely worth the money.

Pros: Received quicklyCons: 1) Instructions are written in ‘mouse font” and require a magnifying glass,2) Instructions are hard to understand3) On first attempt to install software received a message saying “Unsuccess Install”, wrote to manufacturer and received this exact message “Dear Customer, That is not error - That is mean that driver already installed in your laptop You can go on with the test - Regards, Customer service” in about a day,4) On attempting to connect the vehicle to ForScan I needed to enter the “Hardware ID”. System respond was “Invalid Hardware Key”. Re-wrote manufacturer with the problem – Received no response over 72 hours.

Installed a SRT page in my Chrysler 300 and it was done easily great simple install.

Worked great with Forscan on my 2021 F150. I don't see any reason to use the other cables that are double the price. This does all I needed it to do.
