Skateboard Headlights or Taillights - USB Rechargable Safety Lights Waterproof LED Flashing Light for Electric Longboard Helmets and Any Bikes

The lights are great. The skateboard bracket broke after a few weeks (made of plastic), but the company sent me a new one right away after reaching out to them. Also was able to use on my bike for a bicycle ride pub crawl with some friends by using the elastic band. Would recommend!

Honestly I love the light. It was everything I was looking for my skateboard. I actually bought 2 because I liked the light so much; as soon as I opened the first one about 3 hours later I placed an order for a second light.The lights come with 2 mounts. I thought that undoing the trucks on my board and screwing in the mount would make it more secure than the stretchy silicone strap. Less than 3 days later (arrived Thursday, it's now Sunday) I checked my board to install the second light and found out the first one I bought snapped off! The mount was a cheap plastic that I snapped off with just my fingers (was upset and didn't want to spend time unscrewing trucks). I'm disappointed in the mount but the light itself was bright and great. What's the point of having a good light if you're just going to lose money over a plastic undermount ?

The light is actually very good. The mount on the other hand is garbage, it is cheap plastic. luckly it comes with a mount that you can attach to a back pack but if you want it for your board dont buy this one.

I absolutely love the quality of the light. I have no complaints when it comes to the light, it even exceeded my expectation with the different modes the light can go to. ( Flashing, sustained, red, flashing red ) It's rechargeable by micro USB and seems to be 3 or 4 times brighter than a smartphone light and with a wider lighting range. The mount onto the long board works just like it says, however, if you are going over rough terrain with the light, the stiff plastic mount will snap. The other more flexible mount is fine, but since the angle of the light can change, riding with it over a decent bump will shake it down and make the light useless since its just shining directly below your board and not in front.

I installed this on my Ranger X2 electric skateboard. Perfect. Extremely visible. Just like I wanted.

Before I ordered these lights, I read the complaints about the brackets being cheaply made but was told the lights were great quality. After installing the lights, I took my first ride and I was 15 minutes into my ride on a smoothly paved Greenway. I looked down and noticed my front light was missing so I immediately stopped and checked and the rear light was also missing. To my surprise the brackets held up, but the tab on the rear of the light housing broke off and the lights were nowhere to be found. I searched for the lights for 30 minutes and wasn't able to find either of them.Update: The seller contacted me after my review and sent me another set of lights. The lights themselves are amazing! They are bright and work very well! The brackets that are included are sub par at best. The mounting brackets and the way these lights mount needs to be improved by the manufacturer. I am trying to create a way to mount these lights on my longboard without using the brackets or the mount on the rear of the light housing. If you are not planning on mounting these with the supplied brackets I would highly recommend these lights to everyone. They supposedly have updated brackets for these lights but I have not gotten the brackets as of yet. I will update again once I receive the new updated brackets.

This is a great light. Very bright for those night rides. Plus you can take it off and use it as a mini flash light and I love that you can charge it with out having to replace the batteries. Highly recommend.

First this hung took forever to arrive. Like 3-4 weeks. This unit is a good tailight but terrible headlight. It's projection distance is about 10 feet and it barely illuminates the road. My board does 25mph so I need to see down road at the road surface. I took 1 ride with it and All I did was let the nose of my board drop down (as I've done for 25 years) and the clip broke immediately causing the light to fall. I eventually just put a price of Velcro at the tail and mounted it like this. Which works great as a tail light WILL NOT WORK AS A HEADLIGHT AT ALL! The mount isn't worth the plastic used to make it.
