Used on a trip to Europe to have a device separate from a phone. The price justified the potential of theft or destruction, but it was also fairly decent for night time photos.

i needed to replace a smart phone whose camera died. i decided to just buy a camera. i use just for family photos. so this camera will fit that bill. so far i am happy with the pictures i have taken. if you want a basic starter camera this is the one to buy. i have not even checked everything out that comes with it yet. i am sure i will be very happy with this one.edit: i have noticed grainy pics taken indoors. i am returning camera. most of my pics are taken indoors. it could be i am dumb and cant figure out settings, but i have most settings on automatic so i dont have to worry about it.
