Perfect for its purpose
My wife used this when she got back from rehab. She could not walk far and had to rest so this was perfect! Its light though it could us a little bit of cushion.

Ideal for long walks and cues
Are you like me and have legs that have been in use for several decades? Have you ever stood in a long line waiting? Have you ever gone on such a long walk that you start thinking about calling a ride share to get back home? Well this device is the answer to those times when your legs and seat hurt so much you feel that if you could just sit on something (even for a minute) you could go on with you walk - or your waiting.I was intriqued by this because as indicated above my old legs don't dance as fast as they did in past times and my wife and I attend very lovely "walking plays" in summers in a nearby arboretum that hosts such events. (These are plays done in skits that are performed in different locations within the arboretum.) So with each stop in the walking play we could sit (and rest) while watching. We felt this cane-like item would be much lighter and easier to carry....and it could serve as a walking assist since it is also a cane!It has proven to be beyond expectations. It is light to carry or even use as a cane. And if you need to wait in a lline or rest the seat is amazingly comfortable and sturdy. Highy recommneded, not only for the well weathered legs, but the wiser young ones too! Call me 'lazy bones' if you will, but I remember many a time I wish I had something like this - even in my youth - while waiting in long concert lines, etc.

The seat is too small, the single prong not stable
I bought a triple-foot for this as for my hubby's regular cane to give him needed stability, but it doesn't work right on this one, so walking is not as stable. But the mist negative is that he tends to slide off of the seat, it's small and the surface is "slick". A really great idea that needs a bit more work.

What a clever cane
This is working well for my dad who got out of rehab and is working his way from wheelchair to walker to cane. Nice for him to be able to stop and sit without having to find a chair!!

it can extend your walking range.
This is a handy cane plus seat. As an elder person my legs are not so trustworthy as before. With this cane, I can stop to rest when I need it. I just need to be careful not to try to sit on a slope, as three legs are not as steady as four. I would hate to go tumbling. Just loosen the nuts when you get it and the seat will slide into place, and will slide back when you are ready to walk again. It is heavier than only a cane, naturally, but not that much heavier. It's very doable. Oh, and the cane height is adjustable.
