The Teabowl: East and West

A must have book for fans of Japanese Teabowls
If you are a fan of Japanese pottery and particularly tea bowls both modern and historic, this is a good addition to your library. Well written and good photos. For a specialist book it’s not a bad price.

Thorough and lavishly illustrated.
A thorough investigation into the origins/ development of the Teabowl, both east and west, traditional and contemporary. Bonnie Kemske also presents the history of " Chado", the Way if Tea in a very readable way. Lavishly illustrated with examples of both ancient and modern ceramic pieces.
