My 8-year old girl loves her new pink truck and I'm having fun with it too! It is very quick. We've purchased RC cars before and this one seems to be quicker than the others. The tires are made with grippy rubber, so it really moves fast instead of doing spinouts.What we find challenging and fun at the same time is how the controls work. There is no "left/right" button. One toggle button controls the left wheels (front and back), and the other toggle button controls the right side. So if you press only one button, the truck will spin in circles. It's quite funny to be racing and suddenly lose control and go crashing into walls; we need to regain control to continue the race. It works the same way backwards so we've really had quite a few laughs as we continue to master the controls. So far, we've flipped the truck a couple of times and it has taken most of the abuse, except for a tiny crack in the front grille guard (plastic) but you can't even see it. The rest of the truck can take a good beating in the house.Although it claims to be waterproof, we haven't tried that out. We've only been playing with it indoors on floor and carpet. I did notice that the power switch has a rubber covering and the battery cover needs to be screwed in. That is annoying to me but it probably ensures that water won't go in.One thing I also appreciate is that it came with TWO fully-charged and rechargeable batteries. It also comes with a USB cord that you would connect to your wall plug. We were able to start playing with it right away when the package arrived! No instructions are needed!

The truck it’s self is cute and works great and is fast. The water part doesn’t work so it doesn’t shoot the water.
