Got overheated and burnt one of its own pin as well as one on my Macbook pro
Extremely cheap product. Got overheated and burnt one of its own pin as well as a pin on my Macbook pro just after 2 weeks of usage. Luckily charging on my Macbook pro is still working fine. I am so terrified of using this product that I dont even intend to ask for a replacement.

Much better than cheap magsafe 2 cables
This works perfectly fine. I am charging my 2015 macbook pro with this. I am using a 100 W GaN pd charger with 5A usb c cable. When charging, i am getiing 12 V and 5 A, roughly 60W at max charging capacity.Unlike other cheaper magsafe w cables, this connector is best. I use the chep cables earlier by chopping off the orginal apple charger and soldering the cable to it. But the connection was never good. I had to remove and connect multiple time befor cable gets detected. It also cable my charging port to burnout 2 times and have to replace it.But this usb c to mg2 connector feels premium amd solid and instatly snap into the cahrging port slot and gets detected. I recomment this 100%
