No outside pockets, but easy to reach inside to a light jacket layered underneath. Questions2:Is this poncho easy to wear with a backpack? Answer：Yes, is big enough. I really like the quality of the fabric too. Questions3:How much does it weigh? Answer：I am not sure, but it is pretty light weight which I like. So I can wear what ever I want underneath. Answer：Read under the item description...it gives info on the sizing. It is a bit confusing. Order the us size you normally wear...when you get it the tag will say different but use the size chart they have pictured and read the info in the item description about sizing before you buy. Questions7:Would this fit a plus size person? Answer：I am a small person so it swallows me. More so than the picture. The measurements are 58 inches wide. 37 inches long in the front and 42inches in the back. With the zipper all the way down the front it makes for easy access regardless of body shape; and nice for keeping dry when removing the wet cape. Hope that helps.
